The Titans are working to acquire Chargers running back Michael Turner and Lions wide receiver Mike Williams. - tennessean.com

The Raiders are shopping Randy Moss for a 2nd round pick. The Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots are believed to have talked with the Raiders, but neither was willing to give up a 2nd. - sfgate.com

The Detroit Lions organization met Friday and concluded that, unless a blockbuster trade offer comes their way, they will draft Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson. - NFL.com

That blockbuster trade could be with the Bucs. The Lions would swap picks with the Bucs in the first round for the Bucs two 2nd round picks. The Bucs haven't decided if they will give up that much, but might pull the trigger if Johnson is there. - ESPN

What top prospect could surprise and fall out of the first round? Both Alan Branch and Reggie Nelson are possible suspects. Various sources are reporting their draft stock is falling rapidly. Both were once considered top 10 players. Now they could fall to the end of the first or even farther.

Falcons owner orders GM to move up and draft CJ

Sports Illustrated's Don Banks is reporting that Falcons owner Arthur Blank has 'ordered' general manager Rich McKay to do everything possible to trade up and draft Calvin Johnson.

The Falcons obviously have a strong interest in Johnson. They would love to keep the local kid home in Atlanta and give Vick his first legitimate number one wide receiver. The Falcons also have seven picks in the first four rounds giving them the ammunition to make a trade.

Raiders make contract offer to Quinn

According to ProFootballTalk, the Raiders have made a "lowball" offer to Brady Quinn. If he accepts, he'll be first pick in the draft.

This would be a shock considering everyone has the Raiders selecting either Calvin Johnson or JaMarcus Russell. However, it could also be a smokescreen or misinformation to try and get Johnson or Russell to sign for less.

Justin Harrell climbing draft boards

Defensive tackle Justin Harrell is quietly climbing draft boards for many teams and he's likely to be a first round pick.

Harrell never quite lived up to his potential at Tennessee and missed all but two games of his senior season after he ruptured his bicep. However, scouts are impressed with his unique combination of size and athleticism and feel he has the talent to be a standout defensive tackle at the next level.

Kansas City is reportedly interested in Harrell with the 23rd pick in the first round.

Dolphins showing their hand? First day QB

Ted Ginn runs a 4.38 40-yard dash

Wide receiver Ted Ginn ran three 40-yard dashes today during a private work out for NFL scouts. His best time was 4.38 seconds. During the drills he slipped on numerous pass routes and ended the workout early. This could indicate he's still having problems with his injured ankle or it could be due to the rainy conditions in Columbus, Ohio.

Ginn has seen his stock fall slightly after missing the combine and Ohio State's Pro Day due to his injury. While 4.38 is a good time, most scouts were expecting a little better number. Ginn will battle Robert Meachem, Dwayne Jarrett, and Dwayne Bowe to be the second receiver taken on draft day.
