'Twas the night before the draft - 6 rumors

The Titans are working to acquire Chargers running back Michael Turner and Lions wide receiver Mike Williams. -

The Raiders are shopping Randy Moss for a 2nd round pick. The Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots are believed to have talked with the Raiders, but neither was willing to give up a 2nd. -

The Detroit Lions organization met Friday and concluded that, unless a blockbuster trade offer comes their way, they will draft Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson. -

That blockbuster trade could be with the Bucs. The Lions would swap picks with the Bucs in the first round for the Bucs two 2nd round picks. The Bucs haven't decided if they will give up that much, but might pull the trigger if Johnson is there. - ESPN

What top prospect could surprise and fall out of the first round? Both Alan Branch and Reggie Nelson are possible suspects. Various sources are reporting their draft stock is falling rapidly. Both were once considered top 10 players. Now they could fall to the end of the first or even farther.

The Cleveland Browns are shopping Braylon Edwards. -
