Playing behind what offensive line?
That's right there is none.

You can't be making those judgements about our O-Line before FA and the draft. Right now our O-Line looks like this

RG-Marco Rivera
RT-Langston Walker
C-Jake Grove
LT-Chad Slaughter
LG-Barry Sims

Because we are 33 MILLION dollars under the cap, after FA our line could look like this:

RG-Marco Rivera
RT-Leonard Davis
C-Jake Grove
LT-Mike Gandy
LG-Barry Sims

Not bad, is it?

It's not like we dealt away our only young offensive lineman anyway, we still have who? Oh, right, that first year RG Kevin Boothe.

So after FA and the Draft, our offense could look like this:

QB-Matt Schaub
RB-Adrian Peterson
WR-Dwayne Jarret
WR-Ronald Curry
RG-Marco Rivera
RT-Leonard Davis
C-Jake Grove
LT-Mike Gandy
LG-Barry Sims

With the right coach, that looks like a top 10 offense to me.

What do you have to say about that, Talley?

Harrington doesn't want to come to cleveland. We tried to get him last year and he refused to come here. Other than that your browns mock is believable.

I appear to have used the Madden analogy on the wrong person as it applies to you instead.

Show me the link that the Raiders are 33 million under the cap?

Here's mine that says the Raiders are $14.1 million under the cap.

http://blogs.charlotte.com/panthers/

Oakland ranked last in Offense for 2006 and allowed 72 sacks for the season! That's about 4.5 per game! And your answer to that is to bring in another over the hill Guard in Rivera who'd be entering his 12th year and couldn't block for the Cowboys. Sure if you want another turnstyle sign him by all means.
Mike Gandy is nothing more than a backup - I'm a Bills fan and I sure don't want him around starting in 2007 in Buffalo. If you want depth at Guard go for it.
The only good FA on the list is Davis, but he sure needs to improve for the bucks he'll be commanding. At least he'd fit in okay at LT.
The other situation is that you've let two young tackles go in Gallery and McQuistan so there's no depth or youth.

Matt Schaub is not worth a third round pick.
He's sure as hell not worth a third round pick and Robert Gallery as well.

Awesome job with the Titans except for the 3rd rounder. OT is not a day 1 need at all.

We're set at both tackle positions with Roos and Stewart for the next 10 years despite what some draft expert sites might say.

Noted in both cases.

And Tallery - the link you posted doesn't refer to the Raiders' cap numbers... at least not from what I could find.

A great first 2 rounds for the packers. But not another LB who can stop the run but not the pass. maybe a DT, S, TE, WR
