| I want to do a mock draft and would like input from each team’s forum so I can understand what your needs are. Please give good reasons for the picks you make and list the positions you need in order of most important. Thanks. |

Here are the needs:
1.LB
2.WR
3.OG
4.CB
5.OT
6.RB
7.QB
LB in round 1 would be players like Channing Crowder and Barret Ruud
WR in round 2 like Roscoe Parrish, Courtney Roby or Jerome Mathis
Og like C.J Brooks in round 3
CB like Travis Daniels in round 4..
(ect) Don't know how many rounds you are doing
NOTE: Pats had private workouts with Crowder and Odell Thurman. _________________

| Thanks, the fact that you had visits with Crowder an Thurman makes me think Thurman will probably get the pick. I have a feeling Crowder is too good to fall to you at 32. Do you guys normally draft BPA or what? |

Give us the BPA that fits an important need.
LB, WR, OL, and CB are all possibilities for pick 32, but it depends on the player. _________________

| Thurman is a little undersized, not exactly the mold for a Belichick ILB. Pats usually use oversized guys but Thurman is fast so could move outside. But with bigger needs I doubt he'll be the pick. Could go with a bigger ILB who people have lower down their boards or with another position. Ultimate would be if Crowder or Rudd fell. Both are bigger and Rudd could pick up the playbook very quickly, has done it in college with a lot of success. |

I would take WR off the list of immediate needs.
Between Branch, Givens, Terrell, Johnson, Sam, and Dwight, we're set at WR. WE have 3 vets to count on in our top 3(no matter how big a bust Terrell is, he's shown he is an NFL caliber receiver, and as a #3, he is someone we can count on), then two youngsters with talent after them, and a PR after that. We really don't need anything else at wR. Maybe a late round pick just for comp for the last two spots, but not an early pick.
ILB, OG are the top two needs IMO. Then CB, then WR. |
