Barrett Ruud

Do you think the Chiefs should draft Barrett Ruud in the second round this year? I think he would be an excellent pick in the second round. He will play outside in the pros. I say we pick him.

Not sure, I think he may last till the third round. They were saying he plays a little stiff. When there's talk about stiffness in LBs, that usually means he'll be a third rounder. If he's a target, I would like to move down say 10 spots and pick up a new pick.

He had one of the best workouts of the linebackers he ran 40s in between 4.65 and 4.74 and had great 3cone and shuttle drills.

you take beck over ruud just cause he has a little better 40 time? NO, Ruud is a fearless LB, who shouldn't be passed up and for some LB that has a good 40 time...he's a proven player that has the nebraska tackling record, he is also much stronger than Beck by the way...

Im just saying that because Rudds projected in the late 1st to mid 2nd round and Beck is projected 3rd or 4th round I would want to draft him that way I could use my 2nd round pick on like Surtain or a CB, plus his 40 time is 2 tenths better(JB 4.46, BR 4.65) and with the success of Jared Allen last year maybe the Buck Buchanon award was given to the right guy again this year.

If Rudd were available in the second round, he'd be a great value to us. I think he has limited upside, but he might be ready to come in and start as a rookie.
