I want to ask the Eagles fans in here what happened to Bunkey this season. All I know is I think I heard he never started and was inactive at times.....

He was a classic case of another Combine Fraud.

I still am amazed at how there are always some guys who get judged more by the silly Indianapolis environment than by their 2, 3, 4 years of production on the football field. Mario Williams too. If he was that fast and that strong, like Bunkley, then why didn't they dominate on the field?

Mike Mamula was the first poster boy for this.

WHICH PLAYER(s) might fool the scouts and GMs this year in Indy?
Who's a guy that might wow em with his speed and strength in Indy but didn't necessarily dominate on the gridiron in college?

Any nominations?

I like Patrick... but I suppose IF IF IF he somehow flies way up the charts into Rd 2..... he could be a combine fraud.

Did anyone see him today? Did he play?

Just because he'll blow up at the Combine, it doesn't mean he's a bad player.

Josh Wilson is a terrific football player, and I believe he's a 1st round caliber cornerback. He's got great speed and even better football instincts. He's short, but he's still as good a tackling cornerback as you'll find. He makes big plays when you need him to and he doesn't really give up that many big plays himself. On top of that, he's also a great kick returner. In terms of corner play, Wilson is a lot like the 2005 version of Antoine Winfield.

My choice will be Ted Ginn this year. He's going to run with crazy speed and be a top 15 pick but I don't see him ever becoming an elite receiver. He'll be a solid KR/PR but not a number one receiver like a top 15 pick should be.

If he goes to a team with some good WRs to tutor him, say the Rams Wink , he will be very good.

Ted Ginn could be Desmond Howard.

Question is: If you knew how good a player Howard would be (just a guy in the offense, but a special teams terror) would you still take him in the first?

Bunkley was a hold out and missed most of camp and Reid would never really play him.
Can't tell one way or another how good he his at this point. next year will tell.

Bunkley didn't dominate in college??? Are you kidding me?

Here are his stats for his senior year at Florida State:

66 tackles, 25 TFL, 9 sacks

Sounds like domination to me.

You have to give him more than one year before you call him a bust. I really hope he is not a bust though, I might cry if he is because it will add to Jerome McDougle and Freddie Mitchell as busts under Andy Reid. Crying or Very sad

Well, you've figured me out etat that. I'm both a buckeye hater and a straight up hater, those are the only reasons anyone could actually think the great Ted Ginn is overrated.

It couldn't be because he runs poor routes, has only been playing WR for three years, doesn't have great hands, makes most of his plays by running away from college players (they'll be a lot faster in the NFL), and gets pushed around by cornerbacks all the time.
