So how did McCauley end up looking? _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

Willis had a decent game.. I wasn't impressed by any of the WRs for some reason. _________________ in the media baby! |

I remember he had a few really solid hits. He lit up Tony Hunt near the sideline. |

Okoye may be the best defensive player in this draft IMO.
I'd put him right there with Adams, and Anderson.
Also, Merriweather is going to be a great safety at the next level. The team that gets him in the 2nd (only because of character issues) is going to be very happy. |

After that great sack he just kinda disappeared. Granted I missed a little bit of the game but I didn't see much after that sack. |

Don't be so sure Meriweather is going to drop into the second. _________________

Meriweather impressed me with stopping the run while he was in the box. _________________

| I've already heard that Leak and Darby hurt themselves in the Senior bowl, who else has lowered their stock? |

He almost made a great play on special teams, but just missed keeping the ball out of the endzone on a punt. He is going to be a good fit for a team in a cover-2 scheme.

I think there were a few guys that didn't show up. Quentin Moses was awful in the game and should fall to round 2. also think everyone on the South O-line hurt their stock because the North's D-line dominated the whole game.
Here are a few thoughts though:
-Patrick Willis is too small to play in a 3-4 defense. While he had a nice game, he did get eaten up by bigger blockers and in a 3-4 defense you must be able to take on those blockers.
-David Harris is going to be a great 3-4 inside backer. He had a great week and made one of the best plays in the game when he snuffed out the screen pass.
-Jason Hill and Dwayne Bowe will be first rounders. Bowe is my 3rd rated WR and could go top 15 and Jason Hill is a very underrated WR who could sneak his way into the first round.
-Drew Stanton to me is the next best QB behind Russell and Quinn. I think it came down to Smith, Stanton, and Kolb and I thought Stanton stepped up the most.
-Brandon Meriweather will be a first rounder if he can have good interviews at the combine. _________________

| I've been telling people for the longest to watch out for Jason Hill. From what I've read and what I saw, and from what I know of him, there is a chance he could land late in round 1. I personally hope though that the Niners take him in round 2 so he could come back home and play in front of our family. He is very underrated and has great hands, runs good routes but lacks that deep threat speed. He will be a good player in the NFL. |

Ramirez didn't look good when he had to pull and in fact looked slow and a little confused doing it. However, if he gets his hands on a baller, that baller is not going anywhere. Ramirez looked good in passing downs.
Grubbs, and Beekman looked very good when pulling and Beekman was a real beast all game long and took out two blockers in the North's first TD. Grubbs has good feet and is a strong blocker. As pure guards go, you can't go wrong with either one of these two players and it will come down to the combine and tastes to see which one gets drafted first.
I'll hit on Blalock later on... |

For those wanting to see the Senior Bowl, I have the entire game and am in the process of converting it to AVI format (currently in MP4). I'll try to have all four quarters uploaded by the end of the day.
It's currently available on Demonoid (where I got it from) and it's high-quality w/ no commercials. |
