| yes givens would be a perfect fit for the eagles. young experienced quick and fast wr who will go over the middle.his 1st rd tag is below market value ( westbrooks is a steal at just a 1st rd) so why isnt the rfa getting offers ? my guess is its about money and timing. ex....if ne were to sign brady to his offer to soon than other suitors for givens ( eagles ) would make a offer than the pats would be hard pressed to match. so by waiting on bradys deal the pats hope that other teams plan and spend somewhere else. hope westbrook doesnt get offers. |

Well it's quite obvious Givens isn't going anywhere because he's not worth the first round pick. Also with the patriots ability to match, you will more than likely have to over pay for him and then on top of that send the patriots the draft pick.
RFA's usually aren't worth messing with. |

the pats are at about 500,000 under the cap.its a chance to either steal a player and weaken a rival or at least force them to match. imo givens is better now and has more upside than any wr we could draft at 31.
ninja would you " mess with" westbrook ( rfa ) if you needed a rb.... |
