The Nickster going wide.....you gotta love that!!!
Have you guys heard the rumor that Green Bay is moving up in the draft by trading their first round pick and their 2nd second round pick to New Orleans. Supposedly they will select Thomas Davis. We land Davis, we're in the playoffs easy.
I would consider that a brilliant move if it happens!
What say ya'll??? |

i wouldn't. if we could get three guys in the first two rounds instead of two i'd be more inclined to get the three. Poole is going to be a great safety and davis is just as good but i think we have to many holes to fill through the draft since we're being pretty lax in the FA thus far. _________________

| I dont like that idea like Byzr said i'd rather draft 3 players then trading 2 picks for one pick and only getting 2 players. Thomas Davis is good but i think we should get Brodney Poole if available. |

| Why trade up for him when he might fall to us or Pool will be there for us so I go with three instead of two. |

In my excitement, I forgot to mention that I had hoped we'd also be able to get Poole with our 1st second round pick. That is why I wouldn't pick Poole with the first pick....he'll be there when we draft in the second round.
I've boned-up on info about Poole, but if I'm missing something, please let me know. I don't think he's nearly as versatile as Davis, but what do I know???
Gimmee something tangible!!! |

If we didi take Davis he would be going outside, not playing safety. _________________

| I think he would be playing safety now that he has dropped his forty. |
