Fraser is a competent back-up but we need to address the line in the draft if not with our 1st rd pick! I like Fraser and the effort he puts forth but he has a long way to go and unfortunately we dont have the time to invest in developing someone for that spot. We need someone who can step in right now and make an impact or we arent going anywhere!

Simon Fraser is not a starter or a backup. Simon Fraser could not make it on any other team in the NFL, he's that bad. Just watch him, on almost every play, he gets pushed back at least 5 yrs.

Mark it down, the Browns will not make the playoffs this year, LeCharles will retire, Joe Thomas will be a huge bust, Romeo will get fired, when Troy Smith goes to the combine he will be 5'10, people will find out that Phil Savage had nothing to with the success of the Ravens it was all Ozzy.

Rebuild by firing Phil Savage

Fraser is better than McKinnley and Washington. If we had a real NT playing next to him and an OLB playing behind him(McGinest has been a joke this year) he wouldn't be horrible but he's never going to be Castillo, Smith, Warren, Olshansky or Seymour.

Yeah I said Gerrad Warren was good Rolling Eyes

Simon Fraser can be a starer in the NFL, he might not ever be good but he can be average which isn't so horrible. You all wanted Marques Douglas a few years ago and he's very very average. I, in no way shape or form want Simon Fraser to be a perminate starter, only saying he can be a decent starter for us if need be since we have so many other positions to upgrade.

Why does everyone always misconstrue my opinions? Am I going to have to write out a complete paragraph explaining, word for word, the meaning of my post?

Actually the OLB relies on the DE to do something not vice-versa. The problem is Fraser he will never be better than a backup. And if you think Fraser can be a starter then I truly believe that you mean OUR team, because most other teams don't settle for average starters.

I'm sorry buddy but 2 big plays in the Pittsburgh game Fraser was being double teamed and being pushed back but he was still in Parker's path. However, Willie McGinest went blowing up field and Andra Davis was out of position, Washington was no where to be seen then Parker hit a big run.

Also, sorry again because this team is going to have to settle for atleast a couple average starters next year because there is no way in heck we're going to fill all of our holes in one offseason.

Anyone remember who basically cost us a TD in that game for doing something stupid and unnessecary? You know something like shoving the QB into the ground long after the ball if by him.

And you missed the point I wasn't saying we won't have any average starters, I'm saying Fraser is nothing more than one.

IMO with what Frazier has showed he can develop into a solid start in the 3-4 he has the size, and is getting stronger every year, he has also made some plays for our D, with sacks, batted passes and Forced Fumbles, if we get a good DE and NT I think he would be a very nice 3rd lineman, to put it simply he's one of the best of what we have on the team right now.

I think Willie Mac should move to a backup......and then to the sideline with a headset and clipboard.....and stand next to Todd Grantham.
