The answer is that not even the Texans (probably) won't be that stupid 2 years in a row, especially now that Charlie Casserley, the Texan's equivalent of Butch Davis minus Matt Millen, is gone. He was responsible for telling new coach Gary Kubiak that Carr was good enough and Young wasn't needed. Read houstonprofootball.com to see real suffering.

Adrian Peterson is another legend/god in Texas football like Vince Young was. Since the Texans don't get a do-over, this is the next best option, and he is a great player, too.

Also, if the Texans could redo the 2006 draft, anyone think they still would take Mario Williams first? I don't.

Thanks again,

Shocked

Why people are only focused exclusively on the 1st rounder ? Check what he did beyond the 1st round :

2 Ryans, DeMeco OLB --> starter and candidate for rookie of the year
3 Spencer, Charles OT --> starter before he broke his leg
3 Winston, Eric OT --> starter at RT
4 Daniels, Owen TE --> starter, 5TDs, almost 400 yards
6 Lundy, Wali RB --> started a few games, 4TD
7 Anderson, David WR --> has the same number of catch as Travis Wilson (1 rec 27 yards).

A pretty solid draft.
At least all rookies are/were on the field Rolling Eyes
