if KC trades for surtain overall was this a sucesful FA period as far as making the defense better

I think trading for Surtain and a half way decent draft (which seems to be impossible for the Chiefs lately) and they have done a good job upgrading their defense. But I would still like to see them sign one more linebacker in FA whether it be Sharper, Holdman, or Polley.

Rumor has it Darren Howard is on the trade block with an asking price of a 2nd rounder. We are supposedly in the running, him being an ex-Wildcat it makes sense. So what would be better for the Chiefs Howard or Surtain, remeber Law and Dyson are still available?

I would trade the 2nd to NO for Howard and then get Dysons A$$ in here, then get either rogers, rolle or adams at #15...if law heals nicely maybe take a chance on him but not right now

I think we need a better CB than we need a better DE, I'd rather see Surtain as a Chief.
