Thanks JD, I see you are at Clovis i.e. Cannon.

We fly there about every sortie. Can't wait to get more involved here.

Cool. What do you fly?

I am MX on the CV-22

I'm on the B-1, we use the Pecos/Melrose range a ton for training purposes.

We still using the B-1? I do love that plane, got a tour when I was at Dyess for safety school. But I've heard that it was being removed, or something along those lines. I'm mainly a fighter guy (F-16 Avionics) but been on CVs over a year. Use to work with the Air to Ground Weapons Sys Evaluation Squadron so got to work with B-1 guys at Ellsworth.

Not out to pasture yet. We actually just received our newest block upgrade jet two weeks ago. The B-1 is on the books for another decade minimum, especially as we are the only bomber that combatant commanders want.

I spent four years at Ellsworth 2003-2007, nice but glad I got away from the cold.

Appreciated the presence of your bird while in Afghanistan.
Not exactly the mission it was built for, but great endurance and good payload are great assets. Had a chance to get a closer look inside near Wichita, KS about 10 years ago. (Forgive me for not remembering the name of the AB).

I have been following the postings for a long time. It is just one of the ways for a guy from Broken Arrow (just outside of Tulsa), OK to keep up with my team.

Name: Charlie

Family: Married with two kids

Job: Financial Representative and Insurance Agent

Hobbies: following almost every sport (no soccer ..sports) ijk, bad golfer, shoot skeet, fishing

Favorite Teams: Steelers, Oklahoma Sooners, OKC Thunder

Favorite Current Athlete: Kevin Durant (check out his MVP speech..whoo)

Followed Steelers since: I was 7 and my whole family was cheering on the Dallas Cowgirls. I just couldn't. I saw the Steelers as a the tough guy team that run over you or past you.

Favorite Steelers of all time: Jack Lambert and Hines Ward ( for toughness ) Troy Polamalu ( for effort and athleticism )

One part of my bucket list: go to Hines Field and see my Steelers beat anybody, preferrably an AFC North team or Dallas.

Welcome BA and Charlie! And BA, listing Bell as one of your favorite Steelers isn't a good idea...

"He just isn't good"...just ask ThePrimeTime12...he should know. He said it twice for effect!

Anyway, in case you want to stray from the Steeler Board, the NFL Gen, Comparison, and Draft boards are always good for a laugh every now and then!

Anyway, welcome gentlemen!

Me too for some odd reason. It began with Skruggs and Trampled by Turtles of all things... Anyways, I'm perfectly content with TxT playlist I have now and listen to it every time I drive around. You heard of them?
