| Now that we're not going to be getting Pace, we have a bit of caproom to play with. We might be able to make a move and grab Trevor Pryce from Denver who is an excellent player and has the kinda size that you need in the 3-4. He does have some injury concerns, but Denver is looking to deal him and the 25th pick to move up in the draft, and the texans pick at 13 might be just perfect. He wouuld give us excellent depth since we could platoon him with Robaire Smith, Gary Walker and Seth Payne. We could rotate all 4 of those guys. What do you guys think? |

I wouldn't trade that far back for him. I might do a deal like what the Bengals did last year with them though. The Bengals traded back 7 spots and also got a 4th rounder and CB Delta O'Neal who started most of the year, played pretty decent, and figures to start again this year.
I think that you would have to throw in a 2nd or 3rd round pick and you would have to wait until draft day to see who was there at 13 for the Texans in the draft and who might still be there at the Broncos pick. _________________ Only midgets can rock the Casbah |

| does pryce make you younger and faster on defense? i dont see the texans making any more splashes in free agency, is pryce on the trading block? if so what teams are looking to grab him? Also remember on the d-line the texans like jerry doloach as a back up and they've invested heavily on the guys they already have |

| yeah, that's all true. Just wishful thinking I guess because I'm a fan of the guy. I have faith in Casserly tho, and have a feeling that this may be our year to get to the playoffs. |

I think we definately need help along the D-Line. There is no way Walker and Payne play 16 games this year. Personally, I think we will have plenty of weeks with only one opening day starter on the field. Price might not be a bad way to go, but I'd rather see them use the draft. Guys like Chris Canty and Luis Castillo would be great additions.
If we stay healthy and develop our OL and LBs, we'll be the AFC Wildcard team. |

If the Broncos can't trade Pryce they will cut him after the draft. Any team who wants him should wait until then. _________________
