Oh no!! Can't afford to lose him for long, if we do we're in deep trouble. Game isn't on TV in Texas so I have to depend on this board.

It doesnt look to be too serious...think Carson Palmer but with a lot less momentum!!

The game commentators said they "heard" it was an MCL issue. Probably a light tear or a knee sprain. I dont think he'll be back next week, but *if* its light enough he could probably play in 2-4 weeks.

Hopefully its not too bad though, Matt seems to be a pretty good guy, and you hate to see a team lose its leader.

Worst case scenario its season ending, best case he plays next week but doesnt practice much if at all.

Its hard to say though, Chad Greenway walked out of the metrodome carrying his bags when he had his injury, and then the next day its revealed that he had a season ending injury.

Hopefully its best case scenario.

Thanks for the info. We're in trouble with Matt and Shaun both out.

Neither backup has impressed me much either.

I believe that Maurice Morris has been nearly invisible since getting the starting job from Alexander's injury and Wallace doesn't look like a QB that should ever be starting in the NFL. It's tough to say about him right now though since he came right into the middle of the game without seeing previous snaps...

He's got great legs but seems to be pretty inaccurate.

Hasselbeck is one of the top QBs in the NFL and runs the West Coast offence flawlessly. If he's out for a long period of time the season is over for you guys.

i agree...without him ( i dont dislike wallace) but we wont be able to do anything if hes out for the year. he is our field general. everyone saw that sick audible he made on the hawks first drive to d-jack for that td.

score was 10-10 when he left the game...shows how important he is.

but our defense didnt help out at all either lol...

So,what should we doing now?Give the team to Seneca,or looking again for a veteran QB?I think we need a vet Qb,who dont throw 300 yard per game, but dont make mistakes, just play dependably.I like Seneca, but he dont have competent experience for this situation, maybe.

I hope Seneca gets the start. I've wanted to see what he can do in a pro game since his time at ISU. I'm a KC fan, but I want Seneca to put up good number but have the Seahawks loses. Hopefully, Matt recovers speedily. Same with Alexander. This is just two horrible injuries. I feel bad for the Seahawks losing their top 2 players. I still think you guys can win a few games with you defence and using Seneca to his advantages. I'd use him like Jake Plummer. Seneca has the ability to turn a bootleg into a huge run. I think he should be good. Pry just some ISU biase coming from me though.

Eek!!! Losing one of, if not the best RB in the NFL and a VERY competent smart QB is huge! I feel terrible for Seattle Fans, hopefully Hasselbeck is back soon for you guys. Being a KC fan I know what its like to lose a QB in an explosive offense like the Seahawks. Huard is doing ok for us but without Green it's not the Chiefs Offense.
