| I think he is a greatly underrated player and would be well respected in Chicago and would be a good back up and eventually push his way into the starting spot. |

I dont know about that "push his way to the starting spot" but out of respect to the greatest Bear to ever play you could at least put the kid on special teams.
As well as they should have hired Singletary to coach LB's, it not like he is some bum off the streets, we tend to stay away from our own blood and I really dont know why.
Maybe its because if they fail they would be scared to release them? _________________ http://www.sportsattic.com/nflphoto/photos10/Payton,Walter36.jpg |

I don't know about that..... I remember them picking up Butkus' kid after the draft and giving him a try out... and they ended up cutting him. They also gave Casey Urlacher a shot and ended up cutting him too. I don't think they are afraid of bringing in "blood" at all. I do think that Jarrett isn't one tenth the running back his dad was. God bless the boy and all - I think he is a great person and a great son. But he's just not that good of a football player. |

They are not afraid of bringing in old blood just '85 Blood.' There has been a long feud between the McCaskey's and the 85 team. Most of the 85 guys were Halas guys, not McCaskeys. I know that the 85 members agreed to go to the fan fest for rights to use the XX logo and Bears logo for the 20th anniversary reasons, it was the first step in bridging a long running fight. I think this feud will be over it would be nice to see Samurai Mike back affliated with the Bears. _________________

No doubt about that !! Living here in Maryland and having tons of Ravens fans arond me - it killed me that our great Bears LB was here teaching these guys instead of in Chi-town working with Urlacher, Briggs, etc. |

isnt he allocated through the titans? if he was available, why not bring him into camp and if he can cut it then keep him, if not then there is no harm becuase we gave him a chance and it makes for good PR. _________________ "Straight Cash Homey" - Randy Moss |
