I was so pissed off about that. Worse was that my feed dropped out for about a minute, at 4-0. When it came back, it was 4-1. _________________

Only one more point to clinch the East. Finish it up tonight by beating the Bruins. _________________

Bah. Lost to Boston tonight despite dominating the third period. Bad turnover by Girardi led to the GWG for Boston. Could not solve Thomas tonight. I think we played very well though. Will just have to wait until Tuesday to clinch the East . _________________

Eastern Conference clinched. We played well for the first part of the game, not so much the 2nd. Henrik was magnificent though, stood up to the Flyers very well. I thought the refs were a little whistle happy tonight, but the Rangers dominated on special teams, killing off 7 of 8 penalties and scoring on 3 of 6 PPs. _________________

I do enjoy beating the Flyers. Perfect way to clinch the East.
I'm ready for some playoff hockey. _________________

If this game actually meant anything, I would be flipping mad. Nothing good came out of that game for us. We looked like garbage, I have a feeling we took it a bit easy in this game. I can understand that to an extent, but I would still like to have some momentum in the playoffs. So I want us to play well against the Caps and play Lundy if he is healthy (currently has some pain in his arm).
And what a cheap shot on Stepan's knee by Orpik. I hope he gets what is coming to him. Ridiculous. Obviously, I hope D-Step doesn't have a big injury. He skated off on his own power, so I think he'll be OK.
And if there is one team in the whole league I would prefer not to deal with in the playoffs, it is this team. The Penguins present some matchup problems for us with their talent and speed. We'll have Hank in between the pipes should it come to that though instead of Marty. _________________

Hopefully Stepan is okay and isn't hurt for weeks like Staal was when Rupp kneed him earlier in the year. I can see Orpik getting suspended for it. Of course this is the NHL so who knows what discipline if any he will get.
I wouldn't be that concern over the Rangers performance. The Pens needed that game more than they did and it showed. _________________

Yeah,. I wasn't too concerned about the performance. But I still would have liked to see us show up better. Especially since Pitts seems to be the one team that has had our number this year. _________________

Just like Philly has the Pens number this year. Whether it be the Panthers or Capitals I really don't see the Rangers having too much problem in the first round with either one especially with Lundqvist, who should win the Vezina in my opinion, in net. _________________

That was brutal. Looked honestly like we didn't care all that much. I sense that we lacked the intensity that we have carried for most of this year. We were slow out of the gates and Washington buried us early. Hank did not have his best game, though those deflection goals are hard to stop (especially when he is also being screened). No one did really. We actually played a good game outside of not being able to beat Holtby and being a little soft at the back end. As long as we bring it in the postseason, these last two efforts don't mean anything. I don't like the idea of limping into the postseason really. Would have strongly preferred to have some momentum off of a win.
Our opponent is the Ottawa Senators. Go get 'em. _________________
