we're trying to get younger on defense, jamie has been the focal point of our defense, he's arguably the leader on the defense, but he's 30 and he has one more year left on his contract, they're trying to free up that cap space, and they also feel they can get a good replacement in the draft for him, the main point is to get younger on defense and also create some cap space, they'll trade him or release him before the draft i dont see him coming back next year
