| sportskid_021 wrote: | So I am in a 12 team league where u start a qb,2rb,3wr,te,k,def and this is my current roster:
QB: Schaub/Dalton (Nothing flashy but serviceable)
RB: AP/DeAngelo/Jonathan Stewart/Bilai Powell (Plain and simple sucky RB's)
WR: AJ Green/Welker/Decker/DeSean/Amendola (I feel I have good depth there)
TE: Gronk/Rudolph
K: Bryant
D: Arizona
So I personally feel that I have depth at the WR and TE spot and that I could try to use the depth there to at least improve my 2nd RB spot. I am not expecting getting someone like Rice or McCoy in a trade (especially since I put AP/AJ off limits) but everyone else is not off limits, the offers I have gotten so far I have viewed as horrendous...
#1) Gronk for Donald Brown/Jacob Tamme (who he just cut) and Gerhart (he thinks that I need AP's handcuff)
basically it would amount to Brown/Gerhart for Gronk/Powell since he would b the one I cut (along with Tamme to make roster size limits)
#2) Gronk for Brown/Witten/Gerhart (see above)
same as above except I would have to drop a 2nd person (which I see no one on either side to cut to make roster limits besides powell)
#3) Rudolph/Stewart for Ben Tate/Stephen Hill
I think this is closer but I see potentially Stewart putting up better if not similar numbers to Tate and then going from Rudolph to Hill is just horrible IMO....
#4) Kyle for Mercedes Lewis (and was told just to cut Lewis and find a RB via the waiver wire)
So am I overvaluing my teams strengths and players? And if I am being semi reasonable what would be a good target to go after?
I was thinking of trying to trade with someone who has this as his roster:
RB: Tashard/MJD/CJ2K/Hillis/Kevin Smith
WR: Andre Johnson/Manningham/R.Moss/Mike Wallace/Nate Washington
TE: Vernon Davis
I was thinking of something along the lines of a WR (Decker/DeSean/Amendola) + Stewart for CJ2K and Hillis?
Like I said I am just looking at suggestions of players to target based on ur value of the players on my roster specifically at WR/TE |
If you're going to do anything I would say #3, but even that isn't really great. I would look to a team that really need WRs and leverage that strength of yours. I just can't justify getting rid of Gronk just because you need another RB. You have value sitting on your bench at WR, use it to get value at your other starting RB spot. |

Shaub vs Ten or Rivers @KC
PHI DEF/ST vs NYG or ATL DEF/ST vs CAR |
Man QB is tough because of Rivers' matchup, but I still think I'd be more comfortable starting Schaub at this point.
As for your defense, go with Atlanta. |

Well I can't tell you to take Flacco now obviously but of Cam and RGIII, I'll take the rookie right now.
Not sure if you started T-Rich, but of the other two I'd take Sproles purely on matchup.
The QB spot in league 2 is tougher. Freeman has a great matchup but it's tough to start him. Romo hasn't been great either but you have to feel like he's going to bounce back. He might be my play but I'm tempted to take the risk on Freeman.
At that WR spot - go with Thomas. He should definitely bounce back this week. If it's PPR though, that might change things for me. |

I've got a choice to start two of the following three recievers this week:
Steve Smith vs. ATL
Greg Jennings vs. NO
DeSean Jackson vs. NYG
While my gut tells me to start Smith and Jennings, that NYG secondary might get lit up by Jackson and Smith might get shut down in ATL. Then again, Maclin is coming back also which should steal some targets so I'm baffled.
HELP!? |
Well I can't tell you Jackson isn't going to have a big game. He could. But really I think the smart thing to do is start Smith and Jennings. It's your best play at this point. |

I really need help in deciding the best line up for my team this week. I am in dire times and may be watching my fantasy team's hopes be wisked away quickly. I need to get on the right track.
QB: Phillip Rivers, Jay Cutler
RB: Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson, Ryan Williams, Mark Ingram
WR: Dez Bryant, Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Lafell, Ramses Barden, Titus Young, Alshon Jefferey
TE: J. Finley, B. Cook, C. Fleener
We start
QB
RB
RB
WR/RB
WR
WR
TE
TE
RB/WR/TE
Def: Rams
K: Greg Zuerlein
HC: Texans
As I said this team is in big trouble. I have multiple players under-performing and others whose pity may be the end of me. _________________ LANCE KENDRICKS 42 RECEPTIONS 519 YARDS

Would trading Alfred Morris for Big Ben be a bad trade for me. I need a good back up QB for Vick and looking at teams that are lacking RB depth, he seems to be the best non-starter QB I can find.
Or should I take the risk and try trading McCoy or MJD for Stafford or RGIII.
I only have Vick as QB. However, I have strong RB depth in McCoy/MJD/Ridley/Martin/Morris. _________________

I'm currently in a league that resets the waiver order every week based on ESPN standings in a 14 man league. As I'm currently on top of the standings, I've consistently been bottom on waiver order every week regardless of how many people make transactions each week. This has forced me to look pretty long term on my pickups, so question for potential long term value.
Shonn Green has been really unproductive in the last couple weeks, while Bilal Powell seems to be making more of his touches ever since week 2. With Santonio down and Sanchez struggling, the Jets will likely run more. Do you think Bilal may be able to becoming the RB with the majority of carries later in the season if Shonn Greene continues to struggle? _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.
