Plaxico signed with the giants. 6 year $25 million. It was an outside chance but there goes one option for our number 1 reciever. Its not as much $ as we thought but it is high. I guess the front office people really think we can get either Williams or Edwards to be our #1 reciever. We'll see.

i hope winfield and smoot will BOTH be so aggressive that they'll have to draw straws to see who gets to cover him, because they'll both want to.

that's what i like about the vikings' players this year, they WANT to be on the team.

yeah, winfield is the better hitter and that's who you put on the best receiver. make hinm a little nervous to catch it and try to run.

but smoot says he looks forward to going one on one with any receiver in the league.

Smoot is a good guy, and still not in his prime I believe, but hes not in Winfields galaxy.

Which is good, becuase as good as winfeild is, he isnt the classic corner, smoot is. It doesnt matter who starts, they will cover who they fit better

i just want to see some interceptions and shut down pass breakups this year. remember 2003, we had sooo many int's.

maybe the int's were just dumb luck, but dang, that had to shut down a lot of scoring.
