Bruschi Heart Surgery

I saw on the ESPNEWS bottom line that Tedy needs heart surgery.

That really stinks.

Does this mean that we are guaranteed to draft a LB in the 1st round this year?

Actually, from what Ive heard, the surgery is good news in terms of him getting back on the field. It will be fixed, and he'll be good to go. We'll have to see though.

Well, I think Bruschi shouldn't play and he won't. I accually think he will be a coach or close to the team. I think there is a huge need a LB know but I think everyone forgets about Dan Klecko, who I think is a mini Bruschi.

Mini, as in Bruschi plus 30lbs? Smile

I dont think we can legitimately count on Klecko for anything. Id love for him to b a contributor, but the kid was a DT in college, a DT his first year in the NFL, and in his only year at ILB, he doubles as a FB and gets hurt early in the year. He's nowhere near ready to play or contribute.

If there are any doubts about Bruschi's health, he shouldnt play. but if he's given a clean bill, Tedy wont sit around and not give it a go. He's too tough and would want to show he can overcome such an obstacle.
