I was reading where scouts are salivating over M. williams workout despite slow 40 time .Scouts saying fo ra guy who's legitamtely 6'5" the 40 was plenty fast enough. Soft hands and leaping ability ,great body control make him a weapon. Also hearing Braylon Edwards has been running sub 4.40's at michigan ,His pro day is Friday. Scouts say"if he runs sub 4.40's with his ability and size ,he will be the # 1 pick in the draft and teams who need recievers will have to trade up to get one these guys" .They just may end up going 1&2? Smile

Vikes may have to trade up if they are serious about one these guys. We'll see how Edwards does on Friday??

hey vikeman, none of us have any say in the matter, but most of us posting here want dj with the 1st round pick.

we're all just trying to figure out how to do it because it doesn't look llike he'll make it to #7. what trades and all can be made to move up, but not give away too much of the store.

either way we will get some talent at #7,

A QB will go top 6
If both WR's go before 7
At least one DB
A HB, probably Brown

That is 5 picks, so of these guys will be taken leaving us with one of the others C Ben, Cadillac, and DJ.

I really don't want to see the Vikings trade up; they will get a playmaker at #7. A QB will be drafted near the top for sure. 1 RB, and possibly 2 RB's drafted (Brown and Benson to teams like Miami and TB). If that's the case, then @ 7 you will get Williams, Edwards, DJ, Pac-Man or Rolle. Not bad!
