Most fans here can agree that we either want/are going to draft DJ or Mike Williams (or Braylon Edwards, depending on who you think is better.)
The point is, any of these players COULD be gone by when we draft and odds are, atleast 2 of these 3 WILL be.
The Bears could go DJ, or Mike, or Braylon.
The Browns could go DJ.
The Bucs could go Mike.
The Titans could go DJ or Mike or Braylon.
So my real question is... what do you think the odds are of the Vikings brass trading up - whether on draft day or not - to get the player they really want (regardless of who that player is - that's not the debate I'm asking for here)? _________________ UtBDan:

| I think there is a good chance the Vikings will trade up. They have been aggressive this offseason and I don't see any reason why they will not be in draft. |

but we can trade up by trading bennett and a 3rd this year and a #3 or 4 next year, that's not too shabby for the team that gives away a spot higher than #7.
it gives them a rb and lets them draft someone else. bennett would be fine if he could just stay healthy.
get the cards to want him... get boldin... trade someone else to cleveland or miami and GET DJ. |

no, make the trade with the arizona cards to get boldin before the draft.
let's face it, we're not going to get dj AND williams or edwards. so i say concentrate on getting dj in the draft and another quality receiver beforehand. |

| It all depends on how the draft unfolds. My guess is 1 , maybe 2 Qbs will be taken in the top 6. At least one RB (maybe all of the big 3). I believe that we will get one of our top 3. However, if there are other trades or some of the RBs slip, we could be in trouble. I have been very happy with the Vikings drafts the last few years. They have gotten "the guy they wanted" the last 2 years, and I think that they will make the move if they don't think they can get their guy at 7. Now, who they want is a subject for debate. I say Mike. |

I don't like the idea of trading up , it will cost too much ...
1st pick will set things in motion alond with miami
does S.F. go with a WR or QB
does Miami go RB WR or QB
the big one will be the browns |
