Rd.1-Kevin Burnett-LB-Tennesee, Good speed, can rush the passer as well as play the run and is an explosive tackler. The only knock on him is his knee injury last year.
Rd.2(a)-Justin Tuck-DE-Notre Dame, Can rush the passer and play the run very well, good tackler and also able to play LB. the only knock on him is his size.
Rd.2(b)-Logan Mankins-OG-Fresno State, He is a big strong guy who can maul just about anyone and he works as hard as anyone can also play tackle. The only knock on him is that he is not that expirienced at Guard.
Rd.3(a)-Ciatrick Fason-RB-Florida,A guy who can run through people or around them and can also catch the ball with the best RBs and is just what the Eagles need behind Westbrook.
Rd.3(b)-Corey Webster-CB-LSU, A guy to add depth to the secondary and is a good player who can tackle, one of the toughest players you will can find.
Rd.4-Vincent Jackson-WR-N.Colorado, This guy is huge. he is 6'5, and 225 and runs a 4.5 in the 40 yard dash. He has great hands and has the ability to break the Jam. Him next to T.O. kinda scary thought for other defenses.
Rd.5-Kevin Evrett-TE-Miami,Big TE with great hands and incredible leaping ability, this guy is a great reciver, just needs to work on his routes and blocking.
Rd.6-Santonio Thomas-DT-Miami, A guy who is big and can stuff the run. If he were healthy he would be a top 10 DT in this draft.
Rd.7-Lofa Taputa-LB-USC-A guy who can play ST, and with Ike Reese leaving, this is needed for the Eagles. |

Although i wouldnt be that dissapointed if the draft unfolded like this, i dont like the Fason pick, we just signed Buckhalter to split time with westy and have a heap of young backs behind them (watch out for mccoo)
Corey Wesbter will also be gone by that point and anyway it would be waste of a 1st day pick, he's be 5th on the depth chart !!
Doubt Vincent Jackson will be available either although i like the pick if he is !! _________________

Pretty good picks.
I wouldn't mind Fason there. I don't think any of the young backs on the roster are worth worrying about. No great loss if a draft pick push them out the door.
Also doubt if Webster is there... With that much value at the end of the third round, you make room for him (i.e. slide Ware to FS).
Doubt that Everett is there in the 5th. If so, that'd be some real nice value.
We don't have a 6th rounder (unless we get a compensatory pick there). |

Well lets see ?
Rd.1-Kevin Burnett-LB-Tennesee, Good speed, can rush the passer as well as play the run and is an explosive tackler. The only knock on him is his knee injury last year.
<Only a knee injury last year ? No way Eagles use 1st on LB They do not rate LB that high maybe at 63 or 77. Lets try DE, DT, WR, LOT,>
Rd.2(a)-Justin Tuck-DE-Notre Dame, Can rush the passer and play the run very well, good tackler and also able to play LB. the only knock on him is his size. <Eagles can use a DE to get better and DT to get younger
Since they will not use 1st on Lb maybe they will go DE/DT = Cody usc>
Rd.2(b)-Logan Mankins-OG-Fresno State, He is a big strong guy who can maul just about anyone and he works as hard as anyone can also play tackle. The only knock on him is that he is not that expirienced at Guard.
<Eagles already have a lot of Backup OGs need a LOT but not in 1st or 2nd this year maybe late 3rd but all bets off if quality OT falls to them.>
Rd.3(a)-Ciatrick Fason-RB-Florida,A guy who can run through people or around them and can also catch the ball with the best RBs and is just what the Eagles need behind Westbrook. <He is only 207 lbs but the eagles do need another RB because you can not depend on Buck gets hurt to much. I like Barber MN He is bigger 220+ and fast 4.46 and can catch. He would give much better balance and maybe at 63 or 77 would be there>
Rd.3(b)-Corey Webster-CB-LSU, A guy to add depth to the secondary and is a good player who can tackle, one of the toughest players you will can find. <He will never be there and not needed right now. How about a TE ? Smith back surgery, C. Lewis is done, Bartrum is 100. This area need helps now ! how about Desseen and he is a long snapper >
< OK I like it but will he be there ? Maybe draft WR higher>
Rd.5-Kevin Evrett-TE-Miami,Big TE with great hands and incredible leaping ability, this guy is a great reciver, just needs to work on his routes and blocking. I like Desseen better - add another LB here
Rd.6-Santonio Thomas-DT-Miami, who is big and can stuff the run. If he were healthy he would be a top 10 DT in this draft.
<OK like DT here but no # 6 but will have an extra 5th>
Rd.7-Lofa Taputa-LB-USC-A guy who can play ST, and with Ike Reese leaving, this is needed for the Eagles. <best palyer> |
