| Either Flutie or George is fine by me... as long as they can still throw. We don't need a mentor, we need someone that can pull out a win or two if Grossman gets hurt. It would be a fluke to have Grossman out for the year again, but I can see him missing a game or two due to injury - QBs take some nasty shots. |

I think that bringing back Kordell Stewart or Happy Feet Henry (Burris), would be an upgrade over weak armed Craig Krenzel.
Minnesota can have Johnson; he's just a younger version of Chris "Oh My Achin' Head" Chadler (who by the way is available too).
Hey, here's a tought! What's Small Hands Shane (Matthews), doing these days? Still rotting on the bench in Cincinnati? |

| I heard Flutie doesn't want to move again, so it looks like Blake or George or maybe Quincy Carter. |

I think the Viqueens signed him just to [inappropriate/removed] us off!
I think in a better offense Hutch is plenty good enough to back up Grossman for a game or 2, he does have alot more game EXP and he will be behind a much better line and on a running team.
It wasent our Rookie QB's killing us last year it was that idiot telling them to take 7 step drops and not calling proper blocking for the play. _________________ http://www.sportsattic.com/nflphoto/photos10/Payton,Walter36.jpg |

The blocking for any play ultimately lays on Olin's shoulders... he makes the calls. I really think that the fact that we had merri-go-round offensive line is the problem. We needed health and another veteran lineman.... and we have both now.
P.S. - could still use a better right guard!! LOL |

What about Vinny Testeverde or Mike McMahon?
I know they sound like awful choices, but given our situation, they don't look so bad. |

Paper said today that Carter is being treated for bipolar disorder... we need that like we need another crazy Zo. Bears released George for a reason; if they wanted him, they had him. Blake is just a guy; I'd rather wait to see if Cincinnati releases Shane Matthews. Matthews has a ton of backup experience and would fit in nicely (again) |
