The article is about C. Brown, but at the bottom there is a note about us giving Moss a contract that exceeded Coles contract. I hope to God that that is not true. I don't mind having Moss, and I think he'll work out well for us, but there is no way we can afford to be paying a guy, who will probably catch 50 balls, that kind of money.

If they do pay him big, does that mean it's curtains for Chad Morton?

With good size contracts to boot.

We have Morton, Betts, Thrash, A. Brown, Moss and Patten who are all capable of returning kicks/punts. Morton only played 6 games last year, and didn't lead in KR avg. or PR avg. I'd say that the writing is on the wall.

he should be cut based on his salary alone, let alone his mediocre production last year.

That would suck if the article about Santana Moss getting that kind of money is true. He needs to earn his way to that kind of salary, and I don't think he has done more than Coles or even at Coles' production level as of yet.

for a second there i thought i totally missed something and randy moss ended up in washington, but then i saw santana. Cool
