i heard teddy brushi is gonna retire dont know if it is true or not but pollack and brushi seem like they are the same players
both were DEs in college
pollack will probably be LB in nfl
they look alike
same intensity
around same size 6'1 (Brushi) 6'3 (pollack)
pollack might need to lose some wieght he is 275 compared to brushis 245
playmakers
if he is there in late first do you guys think you will take him _________________ Will Ferrell is the funniest man alive!

We would rather draft DeMarcus Ware, or Justin Tuck, convert them to 3-4 linebackers, and then move Mike Vrabel inside, and Start one Roosevelt Colvin, and groom x linebacker for when Willie leaves us _________________

Id take him in ah eartbeat if he is there.
I would only move Vrabel as a last resort. He clearly is better suited outside. But I thnk Pollack doesp roject well inside. We wouldnt have to sacrifice anything outside by drafting Pollack.
If Crowder is there, its moot, Id rather have him, but I would take Pollack and move him inside if we drafted him. |

I definitely think he can.
A week or so ago, I posted the combine numbers for Pollack and compared them to the LB's at the combine.
I cant remember specifically, but Pollack had the best shuttle times, best cone times, best 10 yard splits of most ILB;s in the draft. And he did that at 265. At LB in the NFL, he could dip to 250 and still be big, and that would definitely help his agility. |

Hmmm...how long would the process take though?
And you yourself said his upside is limited.... _________________

As a DE, I think his upside is limited. He's only 6'2, which means, he's pretty much maxed out at 265. He doesnt have the natural athleticism to be aprime to pass rusher like a Dwight Freeney, despite being similarly sized.
But as an ILB, I think he could be every bit the player Bruschi is. He doesn't have that big time pass rush potential, but at linebacker, he can make all the plays necessary. As a DE, he had 90+ and 100+ tackles from his spot. That shows he is very active all around the field. He also had something like 15 pass breakups and 3 INT's, which are above average for an end. He can stop the run and drop into coverage, and is a solid pass rusher. HE has displayed excellent instincts. I think he could be in the ILB rotation early on, and move into the starting lineup around mid season. The kid is just a football player and has the instincts to play LB. He has the short area athleticism to adjust and make plays. |

Heh, then I would love to get him, sounds like we would have to trade up....but who knows? He could fall to us..
Actually, I was never as high on ware as everyone else on this forum was, I liked him, but still, I would rather Pollack...only watched a few Gerogia games though _________________

How are they alike? Pollack Played DE 95% of the time at Georgia. How can you compare him to what Tedy does at MLB. As of right not there nothing alike. |

They both have the same intensity and both give it 110%. They both move well in space.
Pollack is a ST demon as well. He blocked like 4 punts in his senior season.
I want him on the Pats.
I might email PFW about it....
I'll do it on wednesday so it will go in next weeks batch. _________________
