If we don't have to worry about resigning Pace we also would have some money to throw at Ed Hartwell. Then we could move Claiborne outside and our LB problems would be no more. This is just food for thought.
Sign Hartwell.
Trade our fourth 3rd and our 2nd, to move up in the second to get the top CB left, probably Marlin Jackson.
1st - Alex Barron - OT
1st - Elton Brown - OG
2nd - Marlin Jackson - CB
2nd - Michael Munoz - OT
3rd - Antonio Perkins - CB (big help on special teams also)
3rd - Donte Nicholson - S (just in case the S experiment goes bad)
3rd - Ben Wilkerson - C
4th - Jovan Haye - DE
5th - Trent Cole - LB
6th - Kyle Eckel - FB
7th - Darren Sproles - RB
We could also give up one of our thirds (Antonio Perkins) and move up to get Khalif Barnes instead of Munoz.
What do you guys think? |

Yeah I think the Rams could just part ways with OP and trade him to get some good potential in this years draft. Imagine Barron and Brown in a few years, after they get some experience, as you starting Tackles. That really sets up Steven Jackson to run and the passing game. _________________ Bradford....like it or not, it's going to happen

Our entire O-line would have Pro Bowl potential.
Barron (Rookie)
Brown (Rookie)
Wilkerson (Rookie)
Saipaia (3rd year)
Barnes or Munoz (Rookie) |

| Don't forget we would have Donte Nicholson to play FS if Archuleta moves back to SS. Marlin Jackson would be that every down shut down corner we need. |

if we traded Pace to Houston that would free up alot of cap room, almost enough to get Hartwell. We could go after Hartwell or some other FA and still have $$$ left to sign draft picks. IF, notice its a big if, we sign Hartwell, we could move Claborne to OLB and have Dex and Pisa be WLB by committee and still have Robert Thomas and Brandon Chillar and Trev Faulk as backups, thats a deep LB core. That also means that we have more people on special teams who know how to tackle!!! _________________ Bradford....like it or not, it's going to happen

It looks like Pace may not be going anywhere.
Shaw has been quoted as saying the Rams do not want to trade Pace and it looks like talks between the Rams and Pace are kicking into over drive.
Unless Houston wants to give up two first round picks, I don't see Pace switching addresses. |

Yeah I see that also, we offered Pace "Walter Jones" money last night and Pace is sleeping on it. Expect a deal to get done today. _________________ Bradford....like it or not, it's going to happen
