I hear a lot of people saying that they would like us to take D. Johnson with our 4th pick. He is an extremely great talent but what about trying to sign tommy polley as a FA instead. Then we could use that 4th pick on offense or trade down. Was there bad blood between Lovie and Polley in St. Louis?? I think since he has already been in Lovies defensive scheme, he would come in and produce right away. What does everyone else think? _________________ Illinois...National Champs!! Bears... If he is a RFA, the Rams probably wouldn't match it b/c they signed Dexter Coakley and Chris Claibourne already in FA. They moved one of their olb's to ss and I guess they are expecting to let Polley go. Why else would they have signed Coakley and Claibourne? _________________ Illinois...National Champs!! Bears... I would love if we picked up Polley. One less thing to worry about in the draft and our defense would be set.
With Polley we can just concentrate on upgrading our RB, TE, WR, and OG come draft day |
