Most importantly, that said don't hold your breath on Edge coming here.

I read somewhere that Phil Savage laughed when he heard that.

"Can you imagine him wearing an orange helmet covered in mud? Doesn't seem like a good fit."

Of course that could be smokescreen, but it really isn't a good fit if you think about it.

I would rather have another tagged player. Donovan Darrius. Apparently, he can be had for a second round pick and a $5M contract. Anyone else think he might be a good pickup?

Adding another $5 mill contract to the Secondary? I am not sure about that, I think that kind of money can be better spent on a linebacker = Ed Hartwell. Plus giving up a second round pick that we would probably use on a safety anyway . . . . doesn't add up.

But, I like the way Darrius plays, he is ferocious (remember the Green Bay game?). He would come in a be our version of Rodney Harrison, it wouldn't [inappropriate/removed] me off if we got him as much as if we took a QB in the draft.

I like Darius a lot, but I like the idea of drafting Shazor in the 2nd.... He would be cheaper and probably better in a few years....

Dude, I despise Lloyd Carr, and I went there. He has lost Michigan more national championships than he has won . . .

You probably miss Bo... UM probably wont get a new coach for awhile though... Carr's not that good.. He's kindof like Cooper for OSU...

yeah, both cooper and carr recruit like no one else, but cooper just got decimated against michigan, whereas carr just gets decimated by tressel.
Carr, wactually won a national championship though.
The next Michigan coach will be Les Miles, but it wont happen for years and that sucks.

Les Miles used to play at Michigan, he had been the head coach at Oklahoma State for several years, now he just took over at LSU.

All signs point to him and Michigan having each other in their sights down the road (he has buy-out a clause in his LSU contract if Michigan comes calling).
Carr prefers current D-Coordinator Jim Hermann, but after the Rose Bowl fiasco (when he knew for a month that he would have to face a runnig QB, and still gave up 192 yards to Young, [inappropriate/removed]) I dont think he has much support.
