by the way, the posistions are purely speculative... NO ONE knows how good or bad a team will be. obviously everyone thinks their team will do better than the next but who knows what will happen...
1)Buffalo Bills- Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
JP Losman doesn’t pan out. Obvious choice.
2)Tennessee Titans- Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech
#1 Target during Vince Young’s career.
3)New York Jets- Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma
Will split carries with Curtis Martin and eventually take over.
4)San Francisco 49ers- Dwayne Jarrett WR USC
Another weapon for Alex Smith.
5)Houston Texans- Paul Posluszny LB Penn State
Looking to shore up the defense, Kubiak takes the best LB in the draft.
6)Detroit Lions- Joe Thomas OL Wisconsin
Start opposite Backus and help protect whoever is behind center.
7)New Orleans Saints- Patrick Willis LB Ole Miss
The offense is set for a couple more years until the WRs leave, time to fix the defense.
8 )Green Bay Packers- Marshawn Lynch RB California
The every down back the Packers need.
9)Baltimore Ravens- Brian Brohm QB Louisville
Steve McNair falters, and Kyle Boller is determined unfit for the future..
10)Minnesota Vikings- H.B Blades LB Pittsburgh
Will play in the middle and give the Vikings one of the best young LB corps combined with Greenway.
11)Oakland Raiders- Gaines Adams DE Clemson
Could replace Tyler Brayton as a pass rush threat opposite Burgess on 3rd downs.
12)Cleveland Browns- Adam Carriker DE Nebraska
Maybe a bit early, but fits the 3-4.
13)St. Louis Rams- Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State
Amazing deep threat and slot receiver.
14)San Diego Chargers- LaRon Landry S LSU
Will help the secondary match the strength of the front 7.
15)Atlanta Falcons- Frank Okam DT Texas
Big run stopping DT to play next to the pass rushing Coleman.
16)Arizona Cardinals- Brandon Meriweather S Miami
Replaces the 36 year old Robert Griffith
17)New York Giants- Sam Baker OL USC
Eli’s got the RBs, the WRs, all he needs is an O-line.
18)Philadelphia Eagles- Sidney Rice WR South Carolina
I’m not sold on Reggie Brown, but regardless there’s not a WR opposite him with Rice’s talent.
19)Jacksonville Jaguars- Quentin Moses DE Georgia
With Stroud and Henderson in the middle, Moses would be free to terrorize QBs.
20)Cincinnati Bengals- Antoine Cason CB Arizona
With a much improved front seven, the focus shifts to the secondary.
21)Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Daymeion Hughes CB California
Big corner (6-1) to play in the Cover 2 defense if Ronde Barber is not resigned.
22)Kansas City Chiefs- Justin Blalock OL Texas
Aging O-line and WRs but O-line is more important.
23)Washington Redskins- Levi Brown OL Penn State
Derrick Dockery will be a free agent after this season.
24)Miami Dolphins- Lawrence Jackson DE USC
Taylor and Carter are getting up there in age, Jackson can start opposite Roth.
25)Seattle Seahawks- Greg Olsen TE Miami
Much better pass catcher than Jeremy Stevens (who is also in the last year of his contract)
26)Chicago Bears- Zach Miller TE ASU
Another weapon for Grossman.
27)Indianapolis Colts- Rufus Alexander LB Oklahoma
The Colts are thin at LB.
28)New England Patriots- Tom Zbikowski S Notre Dame
Depth in the secondary or to replace Harrison.
29)Carolina Panthers- Michael Griffin S Texas
Hard hitter that would make the move of Thomas Davis to OLB easier.
30)Pittsburgh Steelers- Michael Bush Louisville
Great power to team up with the speedy Parker.
31)Denver Broncos- Kenny Irons RB Auburn
Can replace Ron Dayne and split carries with Bell.
32)Dallas Cowboys- Drew Stanton QB Michigan
Eventual replacement for Drew Bledsoe. |

That would definitely fill a need for the Vikings. _________________

Ahh. Miami was the hardest pick to make. I didn't think it was a full time 3-4 thought they switched between the 3-4 and 4-3.
Who would the Dolphins select in that case? |

Great giants pick, i would love to get a franische LT in here to protect eli.
But its hard to tell at this point if our CBs are going to hold up. We got Corey Webster who is going to be great and a starter this year. But sam madison isnt going to be around for much longer. And with the talent of CBs left i would not be surpised to see us go with either Daymeion Hughes or Antoine Cason. |

Re: the Colts,
As good a pick as Rufus Alexander looks on paper, the following should be said about the pick:
I think that LB is one of the positions that the team don't value as a first-round pick; Coach Dungy and President/GM Bill Polian probably feel as though they can get their LBs later on in the draft - which you can see for yourself by looking at the last few years' draft picks.
2002: David Thorton, 4th Round
2003: Keyon Whiteside, 5th Round
2003: Cato June, 6th Round
2003: Gary Brackett, UDFA
2004: Gilbert Gardner, 3rd Round
2004: Kendyll Pope, 4th Round
2005: Tyjuan Hagler, 5th Round
2006: Freddie Keiaho, 3rd round
And I would expect at least one of the following three 2006 UDFAs signed by the Colts to make the team: Brandon Hoyte, Kyle Killion, Dale Robinson.
Now, I wouldn't completely rule out a LB, but I'd say it's an unlikely pick. |

perfect pick for the Titans.
nothing to argue about this pick at all...he would be a perfect fit for our team and for Vince Youngs growth as a QB. It gives him one of the best WR prospects to throw to in a long time....
only thing that i see wrong is that i dont think we will be picking this high in the draft next year with all the FA signings that we made and the growth from our rookies last year. But anything can happen. _________________

Last season we ran a hybrid defense, and we will continue this year, but more emphasis will be put on the 3-4. A guy like LaMarr Woodley would make me a happy guy. _________________
