WOW!!

How amazing is this guy!!

#11---watch---he's just plain amazing at forcing fumbles and making huge hits

With this speed, who says he needs to shed blocks, when he can run around them??

I just love on the 2 option plays...he looks about 2x faster than everyone else on the field

Leave your comments---Peace

he's fast, but unless he can stop the run (he'd have to bulk up), he wouldn't be a good 3-4 Lb
With coaching, though, he'll be great.
Ditch has legit concerns, but Merriman isn't worth #3

Loved watching that, and if anyone has something like that of Merriman, I'd love to see that as well. And the song = PERFECT!! I've always liked DJ. I thought he shoulda come out last year. This year, he was a turnover machine. Crennel will emphasize turnovers and blitzing, and I think DJ can be successful at both. Now, he may be a little light, but I don't think that will necessarily be the "be all, end all." He can flat out play. If Ronnie Brown is there @ #3, he seems to be the logical choice, but if DJ is there, he's gotta be hard to pass up.

I think that whatever we do, aside from drafting a QB in the first, we will be a vastly improved team next year. I still think there is a lot of star power in this draft. 2 top WRs, 2 top CBs, 2 decent QBs, 1 nice LB, and 3 standout RBs. I don't think it will be as hard as some think to move down and get good value for the pick, because for everyone of us who thinks DJ will fail in a 3-4, there are equal amounts of fans salivating at the idea of him playing OLB in their team's 4-3. Maybe we can move down and add a pick next year. As I wrote in my "looking ahead to 2006" thread, there are lots of good players to be available next year.

Wow, I got off topic real quick.

Anyways, DJ is a good player, and I think he will be able to play the 3-4 effectively, be it inside or out.

I would love to move down to #7 and pick up a 2nd rounder this year & a first rounder next year.

Never said he sucks.

Just that he's not my first choice at pick 3.

That is a very nice highlight video, but it hasn't changed my mind.

Every linebacker with hopes of going pro should be able to blow up the option in the backfield.

Well, he'll probably be Savages and Romeos... Their thoughts matter, not yours...

Unfortunately they don't post here.

Until they do, I'll keep posing my opinions.

Just to let you know, I am aware that it is Phil Savage, and not I, who is responsible for making the draft choice. Thanks for clearing it up for everyone else, though.

Are you aware that you have been equally vocal, if not more, about who you want to pick?

This is an open forum where anyone can post any opinion they like. Even if it differs from yours.

I am aware actually... I just believe in being realistic and logical and not biased...

I dont think that wanting the Browns to draft Ronnie Brown is illogical or biased. I believe that he will be a difference maker on offense and will help the Browns more than any other player, I dont think that is biased or irrational . . .I am not an Auburn fan nor do I dislike Texas (but I did go to Michigan, and I do hate Vince Young now).

They will all help our team immensely, I just would prefer to have an all-world running game.

Yes, I am from Cleveland and went to Michigan.....but its a great school and, with my luck, if I had gone to OSU, they would have lost on a last second fumble or something . . .so I did you a favor.
