I also think that 2 may be a bit too high for him but not by that much if only seniors are in the draft. Now I'm gonna do a quick little compairison to Mario Williams. These are the stats for both of their JR. years.
Adam Carriker: 6'6, 280, 4.68 (40), 43 tackles, 17 TFL, 9.5 sacks, 3 BrUps, 19 QBH
Mario Williams: 6'7, 292, 4.66 (40), 62 tackles, 24 TFL, 14.5 sacks, 15 QBH
Now clearly, their is a decent dropoff but I am predicting that Carriker's numbers will go up slightly and very closely resemble Mario Williams' from last year. I know that the 40 yard dash doesn't mean much when it comes to football, but it is usually a good indicator of how athletic a player is. I also think their is a solid dropoff in talent in this previous draft and the upcoming draft, and therefore I feel that Carriker has the ability to be a solid top 5-7 pick. |
By the way, Carriker is up to 295 now. _________________

Vince will be the best player from the 2006 draft.
Alex Smith will be a franchise QB. |

love the first ravens pick, meriweather and reed would be sick.(although i think dawan landry is gonna turn into a very good player, therefore we may not look at safety)
hate the 2nd rounder, i would be really pissed if we took a kicker in the 2nd round.(yes i know how good crosby is, but still...and i dont think ozzie newsome would even think about taking a kicker in the 2nd)
free is a pretty good pick in the 3rd. _________________

Your predictions are almost identical to mine, I have the broncos over the falons too, Ive said it many times before. But.... Thats an awful falcons draft, none of the picks are even close to what we need. See Scar's analysis on page 1 _________________

Glad to see that someone could finally see this Super Bowl happening, altho i have a feeling that ur falcons pick may be a bit of a homer pick. Still nice to see someone agree with the falcons pick. _________________ Top 50 Franchise Cornerstones (2012) - COMPLETED! |

8 Oakland Raiders Drew Stanton QB Michigan State
Nice position wrong player. I think if Quinn is gone by the pick then Brohm is. Stanton i dont think is a top 10 pick.
40 Oakland Raiders Dan Mozes OG West Virginia
O-line is a concern but D-Line is a need.
72 Oakland Raiders Xzavie Jackson DE Missouri
too little too late. We need a DT more than a DE. _________________

Um... Yeah. Well, Its a great spot for the falcons, but dear god you picked 2 of our 3 strongest positions to improve upon. And we do not need a #4 wideout in day 1.
Scar says it all | scar988 wrote: | | Quote: | | 31 Atlanta Falcons Lamarr Woodley OLB Michigan |
Atlanta has ZERO need for a LB. we need a S or a DT... Aaron Rouse would be a perfect fit to eventually replace Milloy.
| Quote: | | 63 Atlanta Falcons Jarrett Hicks WR Texas Tech |
why select a #4 wR in the 2nd round? we would get a position we actually need like OG (Dan Mozes)
| Quote: | | 95 Atlanta Falcons A.J. Davis CB N.C. State |
wow. our CB spot is set with Hall, Williams, Webster, Cash, Mathis and Rossum. we need a big DT and a guy like Okoye from Louisville woudl be great. |
WOW. Do some research _________________

I don't like our pick area, but I love the pick. Jason Allen and Michael Griffin would make a fearsome safety duo, the likes of which Miami hasn't seen in a long while, for years to come.

Wouldn't happen, Wolfe doesn't fit the formula - he's at 498 carries and his junior season hasn't even started. |
