|
|
I just finished this 3 round 2007 mock. The predictions of the records and order were loosely made and are not my final 2007 predictions but are as of now. As for the 3 rounder, I know this won't be remotely close to the real thing so don't make a post about that. This mock is a little different and only includes seniors. I just wanted to make a SR. only mock just to see how the draft class would be if no juniors declare. If you see any juniors in here, my mistake just let me hear it. I would also like to apologize for the bad format. That is what happens when I make my mocks on Microsoft Excel. But you want a more friendly format here is a link:

Nice Saints draft.
Mkristo Bruce is a tweener, he'd play DE in Arizona. |

We don't need an ILB. Moore, Ullbrich, and Smith are all starters. Other than that, it's a good mock for only having seniors. _________________

No DT for the Panthers. Even if Jenkins isn'tbcak to his All-Pro self after two injuries, we have Kemo, Carstens, and Lewis. We have 2 others that probably won't get into a rotation that much. We have good starters and depth there. A safety would be a bette rpick. After that a TE, which I see you addressed in Round 2. _________________

not a bad pick but in the situation without JRs in the draft and us drafting at the 10th pick overall, i would rather have Landry since he fell that far and he would be able to play alongside of Chris Hope in the secondary.....
| Quote: | | 42 Tennessee Titans Quinn Pitcock DT Ohio State |
we dont really need a DT to bad with us already having a great one in Albet Hayneworth and a capable one in Randy Starks... they are both young and decent for us. I would have rather seen us choosing Tim Crowder to give us another DE to play alongside of KVB.
| Quote: | | 74 Tennessee Titans Mike Barrow K Idaho |
a kicker in the 3rd round?? are you serious.......thats a horrible pick when we just chose a Kicker in the 05 draft and he has panned out for us well having a great year last year in his first season. I would like Doug Free for that pick since we can use another OT for the line with Hopkins retiring last year and us not drafting one in the 06' draft.. _________________

I don't think the Steelers will take a CB in the 1st round, they have McFadden and Taylor, who both looked good last year, and are both young. It could be possible if Taylor doesn't resign, but I don't see them taking a nickelback in the 1st with 2 good young starting corners. Good pick for the Vikes though. _________________

that is kind of a strange pick in my mind as well...
im guessing that he was thinking that he would play as the goal line back becasue of his size or so until Tiki retires and then he turns into the #1 RB for the future.
thats about the only thing i could think of. _________________

No doubt the Chiefs need another solid CB

HB here??? Someone was sharring with Ricky Williams??? Maybe ya havent heard but we got Larry Johnson, Priest Holmes ...Brown...and Griffin not to mention trade rumors of us picking up Michael Bennett.

Were pretty much set with Mitchell at MLB
Surprised you didnt give us a WR or an OT both are much bigger needs....(OT because of Roaf expected to retire next year and Welborne already gone)
I hope this information helps you become a better mocker _________________

The Bengals will not take a LB in the first round. That is probably their strongest position on defense. They have Simmons, Thurman, and Pollack, who are all, or will be, very good starters. They also have Landon Johnson who probably should be starting in place of Simmons. He led the team in tackles two years ago and was second or third last year. Plus, they have good depth beyond that as well. Zbikowski or Crowder would be better choices there. As far as the other two rounds are concerned, I will let those go, but the biggest areas to look at would be DE, S, TE, and maybe OG. _________________ Tired of having to put down five stacks to get a crispy new ride? I dont really like any of the picks for the Hawks...
1) We dont really need a SS, Boulware is emerging as a solid SS...maybe you were thinking FS, because Hamlin's injury puts question marks there.
2) We have great starters and good depth at all LB positions. No need at all...unless theres a FA next year im not thinking about.
3) RB...were set there: SA starter, Morris is an excellent backup, Strong starting FB, Kirtman backup FB (or PS), and Weaver is a possible future FB or power back..
Better choices:
FS (as mentioned before)
DE (add to the rotation)
CB
OL
TE is a possibility for later rounds _________________

Atlanta has ZERO need for a LB. we need a S or a DT... Aaron Rouse would be a perfect fit to eventually replace Milloy.
| Quote: | | 63 Atlanta Falcons Jarrett Hicks WR Texas Tech |
why select a #4 wR in the 2nd round? we would get a position we actually need like OG (Dan Mozes)
| Quote: | | 95 Atlanta Falcons A.J. Davis CB N.C. State |
wow. our CB spot is set with Hall, Williams, Webster, Cash, Mathis and Rossum. we need a big DT and a guy like Okoye from Louisville woudl be great. _________________

The Jets won't be picking #1 next year. I guarantee it. They were picking at #4 this year and there's no way they have another season like last year.
Oh, and they definitely wouldn't take Brady Quinn. Kellen Clemens is the future at QB, and you don't 'upgrade the future', you build around it. Peterson, Calvin Johnson, or Dwayne Jarrett would make more sense. Though you're doing only seniors, we still wouldn't take Brady Quinn. |
