Texans: Joppru turns out to be the 'big hurt'

Quote:
Now, Joppru is showing signs of life. One man who has noticed is Gary Kubiak, the Texans' new coach, who says Joppru has been the team's hardest-working player this offseason. "The time he's been here -- this kid is like a coach who lives in this building," says Kubiak. "As long as he's doing that and paying the price, we're going to give him every benefit of the doubt, and I think he's going to help this team."

That's good news. It would be awesome to see him on the field finally. He must've shown something special if we decided to draft him over people like Jason Witten.

Well if he doesn't work out in the NFL he should give bowling a shot. I know he got a 266 the other day.

I hope he stays healthy this year. I'd really like to see what he can do. You can't label him as a bust until he has played a down.
