What do you guys think about taking Ronnie Brown with the #1 pick? I always thought it was easier to have a RB come in and make an impact than a QB. Maybe bring in a veteran QB and draft someone like Andrew Walter or Kyle Orton in the 2nd round and let them learn for a year under a Vet or draft a QB next year?
How do you all feel about that? |

you can't be serious...why give up on Barlow or Rattay so soon?? We have much bigger needs then a running back or QB. They both have potential, they just didn't have a line last year. I say we give Barlow and Rattay another shot with a much improved line. I'd rather trade down and pick up either Mike Williams, Braylon Edwards, Marcus Spears, a FS or a nose tackle. We could even pick up Antrel Rolle and move Rumph to FS. Another option we should consider is trading the pick for high round picks next year. If Barlow and/or Rattay don't perform, there is a much stronger class next year especially qbs.

You guys need to just draft Mike Williams and wait and draft Leinart next season. Use this year to get your O-line together. Bringing in a rookie QB that you really don't want an d have to pay him 1st round 1st pick money shouldn't be in you guys best intrest.

Agree with sentence 3. Signing Jonas Jennings was big towards sentence 2. Sentence 1 is another story. _________________

I would like to see Ronnie Brown taken. But they are going to give Barlow a chance to strive Mike McCarthy's offensive scheme where Deuce McAllister flourished as probowl type back. i think Kyle Orton is underated and would be agood pick in the 2nd round.

no need for williams anymore. he would be a great addition but with the pickup of david boston (other threads hav links) we no longer need a wr. boston woods and lloyd can get it done. barlow i think will improve with the line. and rattay will improve with the line and the better wr and running game. i think we should trade down and get a defensive player. SOMEBODY will want to trade up on draft day.
