Marques Douglas visited the Browns already and i have a feeling the signing will be announced in a matter of days. thats another raven you've taken (most likely). douglas is a great signing if you get him, a great DE in the 3-4 formation. you'll be very pleased next year with him. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

He would be a very good signing for us.
By the way, do you know you accidentally have the name Ed Reed as the best safety instead of Roy Williams? I know you meant otherwise.

| This has been one of our better offseasons and signing Marques Douglas will be icing on the cake... I can't wait until the draft! |

if we sign Douglas, I still think we might try to fit one more person in.... then it should be draft time... _________________

| As good as Roy Williams is--he is freakin nasty-- I gotta say I would rather have Ed Reed, I was mortified when Butch passed on him for William Green. |

Wooooooooo Woooooooooooo Wooooooooooo Wooooooooooo
No no no guys you got it all wrong
Yes, Roy and Ed and damn fine safetys probably 2 and 3 in the leauge but no safety is as good as Brian Dawkins.
On the field Dawkins is our team leader and should be designated Team Captain. He has put his heart and soul into this team. He's a damn hard hitter, he is the only Defensive Back that I know that can change the momentum of a game in just one hit. One big hit and its all over. Dawkins is that dynamic. He's good in coverage, he comes up to the line and blitzes and gets through, he takes on them big 300 pound lineman on his own. He can cover with the best of them and he can make the big interceptions. He's just like Ed Reed in play making ability.
Off the field Brian is even better then that...
By far Brian Dawkins is the top safety with Reed behind him then Roy Williams..... _________________ Second Mock of 2011 |

I am not going to argue which is the best, (I feel its Reed).
One thing you cant deny is that Ed Reed is one of the biggest playmakers in the NFL . . .ahem . . .106 yard . . .ahem . . .interception return . . .ahem.
I was in Baltimore for that game, it felt like it took him 7 minutes to reach the endzone, man, that sucked. |

Even though I despise Balt... I think Ed Reed is the best... He's so fast, physical, and has great hands.... Brian Dawkins isnt as fast, but he's pretty darn close.. _________________
