| Since we are moving to a 3-4 defense, Andre Carter doesnt really have a position or any value. He can't play linebacker and he is too small as the third guy. Maybe we can trade him for Darius? |

Carter has value as the rush end, a la Willie McGinest, or Peter Boulware. Or the old elephant position Charles Haley used to play. I think Carter is going to be a big piece of the 3-4 puzzle. I've heard nothing to suggest we'd trade him. Darius would be nice though; he's a very good player.

| tony parrish is holding down for the 49ers we dont need a strong safety we need a free safety which there are reports that Mike Rumph will try it out. |
