The Chicago Bears have signed free agent QB B.J. Symons (Texans) to a future contract. It is a two-year deal with base salaries of $235,000 (2006) and $310,000 (2007). |

Good college QB, but played in that funky Leach spread offense. All shotgun and never really had to read a defense like you do in the pros. The absolute longest throw in that offense is usually only about 10 to 15 yards out. Most of the time they throw to the flats and let the receiver make the play. Fairly good arm although not great if I remember correctly (which I may not, I haven't seen him play in about two years). |

look up TT stats online. Every QB throws for between 300 and 450 yards a game. no exaggeration. Their running game is a form of the passing game. Not the type of system that works well in the pros. BJ is the kid that replaced Kliff Kingsbury. _________________ 'I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs but how high he bounces when he hits bottom.' |

Man, I wish I was a Texas Tech QB. I'm only 15 so I don't remember many, but I remember thinking that Symons was going to be a great NFL QB, and then I thought the same about Cody Hodges. Symons should be a backup though (obviously), and I'm calling a Rex Grossman breakout year, although I'm sure most of you Bears fans are too. _________________ -- Kansas State University, 2013 -- |

Is Moses Moreno still floating around, I also saw the Bengals cut Craig Krenzell yesterday so maybe we can go back down that route!!!
This is Rex's year, I'm telling all my trash talking friends to buckle up and find something new to talk crap about with the Bears because we are going to be good on O!! |
