Trade Bubba Franks and N. Davenport to the dolphins for their 2nd overall pick . Trade Cledius Hunt and D. Sharper to the falcons for 2nd and 3rd round picks. J.T. O Sullivan gets signed by the bills for a 6th round pick and Nall gets signed by the Saints for a 5th round pick. Also We give up our 1st round pick next year to the Eagles along with a 7th round pick and we get their 1st rounder this year.

Offseason:

Freddie Jones-TE
Derrick Burgress-DE
Arturo Freeman-S
OL- Ben Hamilton

Since this could be favre's last year I wouldnt be surprised if Thompson pulls out all the tricks and does try to get 3 1st round picks which it is realistic since most teams have 2. Green bay has a lot of holes to fill on d fense and some on offence and thomas is known for getting more picks and the rate he's clearing the roster this could become a reality. So let me know what you think.

1. (2) Derrick Johnson-OLB-Texas: The best linebacker in this years class. Packs a powerful hit like Ray lewis and is always making plays and players around him look better. Should make green bays linebacking corps one of the best in the division and johnson should go to the pro bowl for many years to come.

1.(24) Thomas Davis-S-Georgia: Green bay keeps addressing their D's needs by drafting sharper's replacement. He's a safety in a linebacker's body who has vicious hits and is always making plays around him. Is very good against the run but can become better in coverage.

1.(31) Anttaj Hawthorne-DT-Wisconsin: A huge run stuffing defender who can make plays in the backfield. Also can get sacks. Will shore up the packers run d which isnt bad but could be a lot better.

2.( 51) Demarcus Ware-DE-Troy State: Should help green bay's dline put more pressure on the quarterbacks. Is very good against the pass and the run and is known for making big plays. Can spell relief for kampman on passing downs.

2. (5Cool Alex Smith-TE-Stanford: Bubba's replacement. Should team up with freddie jones and give the packers a nice 1-2 punch at the tight end position. Has the speed to go deep and then jones can work underneath. Has very good hands and more athleticism than franks and is a willing blocker.

2. (59) Corey Webster-CB-LSU: The packers need a corner who can consistantly play man to man which carrol doesnt fare at well because of his size. With drafting webster we have 2 corners who can play man to man since moss is no longer in the division and carrol can move to nickel for a year or 2 until harris is done and then webster can take over for harris and carrol can be the other starter. Also is physical and makes the big hit and can get the big plays.

3.(89) Josh Bullocks-S-Nebraska: Green bay keeps adding pieces to the defense and drafts bullocks to back up freeman. Bullocks gets to learn and can still contribute in some packages and situations and will form a great duo with davis for the next few years.

3. (90) Michael Munoz-OT-Tennesse: Draft offensive line with this pick. Is good at run blocking and pass blocking and should keep favre from getting harmed.

4.( 119) Kyle Orton-QB-Purdue: Orton who could have gone anywhere from late 2nd to 4th is here and green bay drafts favre's heir. He's a leader who rally's the team and is a gunslinger. He's accurate and knows how to read defenses and the only reason he falls is because of a injured 2nd half season in which he managed to throw 31 tds and 5 picks. Needs to work on center exchanges and speeding up his delivery but he has all the tools to succeed. He has a lot of favre in him and would be a steal at this point in the draft. Also if mcpherson is around he could possibly be drafted if orton isnt.

5.( 134) Josh Davis-WR-Marshall: Adds depth to wr. corps.

5.(154) Adrian McPherson-QB-AFL: With both qbs getting signed green bay drafts Mcpherson who should be a very good backup or starter depending on how orton pans out. Is athletic and has a cannon for an arm and is a dual threat which he can pass or run. Character concerns aside he could be the tom brady of this years class.

6.(165) Bobby Purify-RB-Colorado: Back up to green who can still make plays.

6.(178) Jim Leonhard-PR-Wisconsin: Drafted for special teams for which he can take them to the house.

Franks and Davenport won't be traded for such a high pick. No way would the Phins be stupid enough to do that.

First thing's first.

It's COMBINE.

Second, what kind of drugs are you on, and where do I get some?

Franks and Davenport for the No.2 overall pick? Why would Miami trade for a TE, when their best offensive player is their TE?

Sharper and Hunt for a 2nd and a 3rd... hang on, I see a trend here...

You are really rating our player too high... Franks is a good TE, ok fine. But Davenport is injury prone, and Sharper/Hunt do not deliver the plays their hefty pricetags say they should.

Thirdly, Ben Hamilton was re-signed by the Broncos last week.

C'mon, a bit of realism never hurt anyone...
