Fujita does not have great measurable speed but make up for it with excellent athletic ability, good quickness and productivity. He has great size at 6'5" 250 and long arms for separation. Fujita has great instincts and a good knowledge of angles and leverage to be very good at slipping blocks. He is very intelligent and with decent intangibles and need only experience to become a very good-excellent starter, although he is already a pretty good starter at OLB. Here's the best thing: Fujita is 25 and would only cost a fifth round pick! Now it might take maybe a three year deal at around 2-2.5 mil to secure him, but boy that linebacking corps of urlacher, briggs, and Fujita would be young, talented and dangerous.

OUtside of a back-up QB I think we are all done spending money this offseason, we cant get greedy and get ourselfs in cap hell when we have a good handle on it like we do now.

Unless we say bye bye to rdub like I would like we can't really get anyone good. Rdub would free up 3-4mil and then we could grab maybe Him and a decent backup QB. However, If Rdub leaves we have atleat 3.5 to play with and we need these postitions in this order... OLB QB TE SS RB. We need to find the space to get at least 2 more of these needs filled.

redwing -
rw will save us 3.5 - CUT

Tucker will save us 1.9 - CUT

I don't see him back. Especially after they cut Gandy so he and COlumbo could come back and sunk it up.
