Just finished reading the book... I thought it was OK, yet my Lit teacher treats it like a bible... anyone else read this? I know the main character Roarke is supposed to symbolize the author's view on self-importance and what-not, but I think that it's all overblown. Thoughts? _________________

it's written in an epic style which always feel exaggerated and even hard to believe/accept.
but much of what rand wrote and gave to roark to say in his court arguments is something that can profoundly affect a person.
rand followed The Fountainhead up with Atlas Shrugged, a story of an entire rebellious society filled with individuals with roark's philosophies. _________________
