I am going to the Pink Floyd Expierence concert this friday. I am to young to have seen the real Pink Floyd play but I hear this cover band is very good and I hope it will be something like the real concerts because I've heard so much about them. Lets just say Im excited. _________________

the old floyd shows were good, no doubt about that.
they were about 15 years ahead of their time with the stage shows they produced. before them, bands didn't show images behind them on a screen or use lasers.
they had one tour ( i didn't see it) where at some big musical moment they unleashed some kind of static electricity generator and everyone in the audience's hair stood up on end. very freaky.... _________________

I know how revolutionary they were with their concerts and I hope the cover band could be at least half as good.
I wish could have seen all these bands concerts when they were in their prime. I love all their music. _________________

Slayer. I've seen them 3 or 4 times and they rock each and every time. I don't know how they do it but their sound is simply the best I've ever heard. My personal fav show (also my first time seeing them) was on the Clash of the Titans Tour (w/ Megadeth, Anthrax, and Alice In Chains) in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Other one was an outdoor show on the Jagermeister Tour, probably 3 years ago, in Davenport, IA on the Mississippi riverfront under a full moon with the Centennial Bridge lit up in the background. Incredible show.
Other concerts worth mentioning: Fear Factory, Motorhead, Metallica, Butthole Surfers, Beastie Boys, Primus, Pantera, Danzig, Janes Addiction, Sepultura. |

Grateful Dead in '94 when I was just 6 years old. I still remember almost all of it. Since then, I'd have to say 311. _________________

This summer I'll be able to say my own even though it will only be around 200 people there. Still though, it will be fun performing. _________________
