| The Bears could use a TE and an OLB... do you guys think either of these guys fit the bill ?? Jones had some good years with the Cards and Hartwell is a solid LB - but maybe his success is thanks to Ray Lewis. What do you guys think? |

| Hartwell is decent. I think the only way to solve the TE problem is Bubba Franks, who was under utilized in Green Bay |

Unfortunetly we do not have the cash to get anyone right now except a cheap third string QB. I'm almost willing to bet we sign "old man Johnson" by this weekend. That's fine considering I think this "NEED" for a veteran QB is a bunch of crap. All they are good for is mentoring the youth. Just look how well Testeverde did with the Cowgirls, not!
I like Hartell, but he'll end up with the Browns or Cardinals, or some other crappy team desperate for D. We can wait for the draft to cover our D needs.
Does Brad Johnson come with the wheel chair or do we have to provide that? |

| I believe that a wheelchair and a lifetime supply of Geritol are provisions in his contract. lol!! Seriously... I don't believe the mentor crap... what exactly is a veteran QB that has been below average his entire career gonna mentor Grossman in ?? How to throw interceptions in a clutch situation? |

My point exactly Grrrlacher. The whole verteran "need" is a bunch of crap. Let's hope we never see that third stringer on the field.
A healthy Grossman and Hutch is fine by me going into this season. |
