| Your opinion, but Kiper considered both Chester and Pittman steals. Even if you think Chester was a reach, the Ravens were determined to get him in the second round and would have taken him at 44, yet they traded down and got a 3rd and still got him. In Kiper's latest mock, he had Pittman going 50th overall (middle second round pick) and we got him middle 3rd round. I don't like the pick, not because it was a reach, but because we still don't have a safety. Pittman dominated at the Senior Bowl _________________

49ers: A-
First round was like a dream come true for us, then we drafted some guy named Brandon Williams, SKIPPED Ko Simpson in the 4th, and drafted Michael Williams, who probably wouldve been available in the 6th round _________________

McIntosh really fills in the hole left by Arrington. We get a player whos smarter and a player who plays in a structured defense. Hes a 3 down LB and can play all the LB positions and Greg WIlliams loves versatality. This kid will do wonders in the NFL. |
I dont think he is a starter this year. He will be a nice fit and split downs with Clemons. I dont think he has experience pass rushing but that doesnt mean he cant learn the moves to do it. The skins do rush their LBs so he will have to learn that area. |

Saints-
Reggie Bush- Best player in draft so its an "A" but does not fill a need at all, now we have 3 first round draft picks in the back feild.
"A"
Roman Harper- Why pick him? We have dwight smith and josh bullocks? A reach and a horrible pick if we would have stayed in the second we could have gotten jimmy williams.
"F"
Jahri Evans- Could have been better. Way better. Other positions needed more attention, know nothing about him hope the FO does.
"D"
Overall = F no postions needed have been filled????? _________________ We almost made it this year.

Can I change my Eagles grade to an A++? We just got Jean-Gilles and Avant. We get the best DT in the draft (at least for our scheme), the second best OT who was ranked as a top 15 prospect, a top 40 prospect at Guard, a good project at SLB, and Jason Avant, who will both play receiver and return some kicks. We addressed every need and did so with out giving up any picks next year, plus we got three absolute steals. This draft is just going incredibly well. _________________

greenway- A+ just what we needed
griffin- C not even the best CB left
cook- F WTF were they thinking. worst pick i have ever seen. so many other good o-linemen left and you take cook
jackson- F yes, we needed a QB but jackson was not it. he would have been there in the third, but we trade away both our thirds for him. jacobs was a better QB and we could have gotten him. |
Griffen is gonna be an excellent cover two CB. DOnt put down that pick. I dont know what their logic was in Cook. As for Jackson, at that point why not gamble on greatness instead of taking a safe backup? |

Right position, not sure about the player. What is going on with Ko Simpson and Darnell Bing??
Willie Reid - F
Way to early to be taking a return specialist. Could have gotten one in the 5th round. Pick makes zero sense.
Overall Steelers Day 1: D
I like the positions we filled with the first two picks. However we lost picks, and the third pick was absolutely HORRENDOUS |
Being that it is the Steelers maybe they see him as contributing on their tricks packages and not just as a returner? |

You will probably eat those words about Willie Reid someday soon. Sure, we might have gotten him in the 4th, but maybe not. I'm not sure about Smith like you said, but I trust the Steelers to pick the right safety for them. _________________

The Chiefs getting Brodie Croyle could turn out to be fantastic. Take away the injury history, and he is easily right behind Cutler on everyone's board. 2nd Rounder taken in 3rd.
Also, behind that amazing line, he will have a very low chance of getting hurt.
I love that pick.
Now, on to the Jets grade.
Round 1 D'Brickashaw Ferguson A+
Fills biggest need on the team and probably one of the safest picks in the draft along with AJ Hawk.
Round 1 Nick Mangold A+
Instant Starter on O-Line who is a feared and nasty blocker. Will be mentored by Teague, a solid veteran.
Round 2 Kellen Clemons A-
QB of the future who was part of the muddled middle of 2nd tier QB's. Has great accuracy and could turn out to be a Pennington clone, because of erratic accuracy on the deep tosses. Hopefully minus the arm injuries.
Round 3 Anthony Schlegel B
A reach, but he is a true football player. Will do anything to make a play and will be a great LB. We still don't know who was responsible for the greatness of the Buckeyes trio of Linbackers last year. Might've been him.
Round 3 Eric Smith B
Some hate this pick, but think about it. Scouting reports say he is a LB trapped in a Safety's body. Will be a very good blitzer from the safety position and could end up being like a Thomas Davis type.
Round 4 Brad Smith A-
He is our slash player. QB/WR/RB who could be an Antwaan Randle El type if he allows himself to learn a new position. Strong who can break tackles.
Round 4 Leon Washington A
Replacement for Martin along with Cedric Houston. They will form a good thunder and lightning duo. Leon is a bit on the short side but he will make plays
Round 5 Jason Pociask A-
TE from Wisconsin. Outstanding blocker who can make plays with his hands. Could convert to Fullback for us. Very smart pick. Maybe a Chris Cooley type player.
We still have 2 picks left and this could turn out as one of the greatest drafts in Jets history.
I give it a solid A so far. Top 5 drafts overall.
Texans may have the best.
PS. Where the hell is Mike Kudla going to go? I hope the Jets at pick #189 but that is 30 picks away. If he lasts, I bet the Browns take him with one of their back to back picks in the 6th Round. _________________

The Eagles may have the best overall draft up to this point. I see NO major reaches, at all. _________________ Why have a signature? I don't need to be famous................................................. |

After having Tebucky Jones and Sammy Knight on the team, who would you prefer? Of course Knight.
I like Harper. He's instinctive, a leader, and a high character guy.
Smith has attitude problems and will be traded or moved to CB.
Evans is a sleeper but has the potential to be a very good starter. |

Carolina Panthers
B+
Round 1 - DeAngelo Williams
Unbelievable steal, could be the absolute steal of the draft. He and DeShaun Foster will cycle in and out. Selection A+
Round 2 - Richard Marshall
Another steal who was projected to grabbed in the late 1st, early 2nd round. He will fill Ricky Manning's place along with possibly returning kicks because of his great speed. Selection A
Round 3 - James Anderson
Athletic linebacker who will back up Thomas Davis at OLB most likely. He Anderson has great potential he is just raw. Selection B
Round 3b - Rashad Butler
Don't really like this selection. He looks slow and doesn't have the greatest technique. I think it was a reach but he will add some depth to the offensive line. Selection C-
Round 4 - Nate Salley
Uggh, I`m a huge Ohio State fan and this guy was the weak link on an unbelievable defense. Pat Watkins was still on the board at this point. I think this was the worst selection by Carolina. Selection D
Round 5 - Jeff King
Great TE prospect out of Va Tech who I think has the ability to start in a year. Good selection for a 5th round pick. Selection B+ |
