| WE NEED THIS!!! This is incredible. We have players falling all over themselves to play for us next season. We could make it all happen too. Second rounder and a player seems like a hell of a deal to me. Unfortunately, McCombs is a jacka**. Does McCombs have some sort of E-Mail address that we can all write him at? |

well, a 2nd rounder certainly would be a nice trade... Darius is getting older, I think a first rounder is a bit heafty a price considering the Vikings traded Moss for a first rounder and an "above average" player... and Moss still had a few more miles on his engine.
If they want a 2nd rounder+a player, I'd say it really depends on the player.
heck, word is that Miami is looking for a second rounder for Surtain, who is one heck of a CB, and personally I'd rather go for Surtain.
If the Vikings could find some way to get Surtain AND Darius, that'd certainly be a MASSIVE improvement to the D.
Though honestly, while Fred Smoot is out there, and requires NO trade to pick up, and will want just about as much money as either of these guys will (since both of them will require a re-signing for similar to Smoot-like prices)
All this trading crap is irritating when there was/are good free agents on the market, all of which could have been picked up AND saved the draft picks. This particularly irritates me since all the trades will require new long term contracts anyway. _________________

fred smoot visiting could be a good sign and culpepper and burris hanging out in FLA . could be the three things we need very much |
