LB Scott Fujita, Kansas City (compensation: fifth round): Surprising that the Chiefs made him the low-level tender because he is a quality defender, quick and active, and has started the past 2 seasons. A player with compelling length (6-feet-5 and 250 pounds) and good movement skills. Over the last two seasons, in which he started every game, Fujita has 204 tackles, 8 sacks and six passes defensed.

admitadly, not a great player, but we need defense, and linebackers, and for a 5th round pick, i think hes worth it...

Plus we can call him Scott Fagina and it sounds funny.

Not that Fujita is a bad LB (I think he's fairly decent), the problem is he's maybe a B+ linebacker at best, and while the vikings LBs have been fairly sucky, I get the feeling that the Vikings are being passive on LBs unless they take someone that is potential/already established to be an A rank LB.

as far as any other team goes thats short an LB, I dont why they wouldnt give up a meager 5th rounder, since its a fairly sure bet.
