never know with davis, if the niners pass, i think they might get to the rams, maybe the cards, but either way, and i dont see winston going much earlier if at all, most people save him for the 2nd round, but i can see the jets taking him there if they dont get D'Brick....Jackson should be the 1st taken, but who knows if he WILL be.....and i know the steelers are looking at Mangold, but they are looking at Allen very hard too, I think they take Allen if he is still there.....Thanks for the input!

On the other hand, I would much rather have Huff, although the one that I really want is Cromartie, but I really want Chad Jackson too, If we could get those 2 it would be a perfect draft for us.

As a niner fan what I have to ask why you like Jackson so much? I have to say that I would love Davis at #6 because he would add something to the 49ers that they really need and have not had since T.O. left and that is a playmaker. Huff is good, don't get me wrong but V. Davis is GREAT. Too big for a CB to cover, too fast for most LBs. Also, the offense last year was so horrible the defense was stuck on the field constantly from 3 and out after 3 and out. I am also high on Cromartie and pray that he slides to #22.

well, the reason i am high on jackson is the word playmaker.....He is even faster than Davis, but not as big, but he can jump like crazy, he can get to almost any ball between his speed and his jumping ability....i feel that is just what we need on the other side of Bryant to help Alex Smith mature with a good, young receiving corps. Then if we want a TE, we can hope that a guy like Klopfenstein, Fasano, or Day will fall to the 3rd or 4th round.....I like Davis, but i'm not sure that we have a HUGE need for him, I think Jackson would be a smarter pick, but I guess if VD is as good as Gates, It might be worth it.

i definitely agree with you, but if i put davis at 10, I have no idea who the rams would take at 11......unless of course, they took Cutler..? not sure

but by making my draft with VD at 10, makes it a lot harder to finish becuz of Ngata goes 11, I have a hard time finding what CLE would take at 12, and then it would be someone taken later in the 1st, so I would have to switch basically my entire mock....I dont know i guess, I'm sure VD will become a niner, but I would like to see Huff and Chad Jackson in the red and gold as well....We'll have to see which route the 49ers will take...

i hope by saying tye hill, you must mean that Cromartie will be gone before 22? and i'm not real high on Hill becuz of his size, I think i would rather have Allen from Tenn, or maybe even Joseph from So. Car.
