Watch the highlights. He is fast, and he is pretty good in coverage. Our ILB group is really, really fast now. Probably hasn't been this fast since the days of Hawk and Barnett. Do I think that it is a little early? Yes. He will be behind Quay and Cooper for sure to start camp. And if those two work out, he may be Eric Wilson. Do you really hate the idea of a cheaper and younger Eric Wilson under team control for four seasons? My guess is that he is an immediate stalwart for special teams, and if he is called upon to play from scrimmage, he will be just fine. The team obviously thought Hopper was better than Gray or Wilson at ILB. I am not sure exactly what the board looked like at the time. I know I wanted Zinter, and if he wasn't there a lot of people wanted Puni. Turns out neither of them were still there. I believe Haynes also went right before our selections. I actually don't like how the board fell for the third round for us. The value probably was a WR, but we are at a very healthy WR room, and any additions are probably very diminished returns. So we went with a RB and a LB that we would be fine with a little later. But I think that would have been the feeling about no matter who we selected at that point.

There is a perspective through which, on Day 2, the Packers got the best Linebacker, best Safety, and best RB in the draft when they came into this weekend with OL6, LB, S, and RB2 the most upgradable positions on the roster.

Isaac will primarily be a SAM for us imo. Reminds me of Judon with how he plays EDGE almost like an off ball. Great at stunts, sifting through traffic, and strong up against TEs. Good nose for the ball and high motor bring production. Much better overall player against the run than Judon. Still only a C tier rusher against Tackles, but has the athletic profile and tools to ascend beyond that. Should be a fun little pupil for Chuck Smith.

Easiest way to do it would be keep the same format, just you play another team from the same division in the other conference Say Dallas as the NFCE winners would play KC as the other #1 and then do the opposite of playing Chargers who were last in the division. You just swap who gets homefield for the same spot games and the other games every year. Everyone gets 9 home games and 9 away games. Once every 5 years you give up a home game to the international ones, which I think is the current rule.
