Hey all, you'll probably be glad to know that the forums has new Patriot fan! I have been looking at these forums for awhile but just decided to make a profile. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is hi.

I have a question for you concerning the LB's in the upcoming draft. For those of you who think that LB is our #1 need (as I do), if the likes of Kevin Burnett, Darryl Blackstock, Demarcus Ware, or even Justin Tuck is there at our 1st round pick, who do you think we would most likely go after?

Tuck, but I doubt he is there...

Ware is the runner up and should be there...

Tuck played LB at ND two years ago and would be a great OLB in our scheme. If we draft him, we would move Vrabel inside.

Here is what it would look like, just the LB Starters

ROLB - Tuck
RILB - Vrabel
LILB - Bruschi
LOLB - McGinest/Colvin

IMO, itd definitely be Tuck or Ware. Im not sure who we'd favor more.

Tuck has made it clear his preference is to play down on the line, and at 268 at 22 years old, he may be too big to play OLB in the NFL in a couple years.

Ware may be more suited to play the OLB spot.

For the Pats, Id probably take Ware. If the team considers running more of a 43, Tuck would probably fit better because he can play time with his hand down.
